General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the soap just dropped its preview video for the week of November 18-22, and it looks like the proverbial drama is about to hit the fan.
From the sounds of it, three major things will unfold: Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) funeral, Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins) awakening, and it’s likely the autopsy results will be in.
There are some emotional and highly charged moments ahead, so fans need to brace themselves for chaos.
There’s a scene in the preview that shows Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) essentially blaming Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) for his mother’s demise.
It seems to take place sometime after Sam’s funeral.
Lucas has already been struggling with guilt, so watching his nephew have a meltdown over his mother’s death and pointing the finger of blame at him will be heartbreaking for him, and viewers as well.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will have a heart-to-heart with Danny as the days go by and might be able to get through to the teen about avoiding the blame game.
He may reason with his son that Lucas did everything he could to save Sam, and that he’s hurting just like Danny is.
Added teasers also suggest that Lucas and his Aunt Ava Jerome (Maura West) will find common ground.
Ava is the town pariah at this point, so the fact that they’ll land on the same page about anything is concerning.
Why will Danny blame Lucas for Sam’s life ending?
Could the autopsy results come out before her funeral? Could there be something in the report that points to negligence during surgery or post-care?
Danny could just get caught up in emotion and wonder why Uncle Lucas didn’t try harder to revive his mother.
Then again, if the report suggests Lucas is to blame, this could cause major drama in the entire town as there will be those who resent Lucas for his actions, and those who stand by him and his work ethic.
The whole storyline could split Sam’s loved ones on opposing sides of the situation, so how ugly could things get?
