General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest some interesting plot twists on the horizon in the land of Port Charles for the week of September 9-13. Right now, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is in quite the jam, and once again, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has placed her in a sticky situation.
Sonny shot John “Jagger” Cates’ (Adam J. Harrington) twice, killing the shady FBI agent, point blank, behind the Quartermaine mansion.
Sonny covered all his bases when it came to the gun he used; however, not quite when it came to the alibi.
Carly’s looking to help her ex, for the sake of their shared child, Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears), and their history, but she’s mighty nervous about the repercussions she could face if the truth comes out and she becomes an accessory to John Cates’ murder.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) reminded Carly that she was in a similar situation mere weeks ago, with the fear of a prison sentence, on the Friday, September 6 episode.
Thankfully, Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) was able to help Carly out of that pickle.
After all, with a flick of a switch, Brennan pulled some magic by erasing the incriminating evidence the FBI had against Carly.
Brennan was able to erase an audio from their server, so, could lightning strike, twice?
Looking forward to the week that is coming, Carly is set to ask for Jack’s help with something during the Tuesday, September 10 show.
As the week progresses, Jack will give Carly a “rundown” on Wednesday, September 11.
Looks like Brennan may get involved with CarSon’s drama, but he may want something in return.
Brennan does have a crush on Carly, but he also appears to have Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) on his radar.
The WSB could use a man like Jason, with his skill set and all, but Jason loves his current career path as Sonny’s right-hand henchman. Especially now that the two men have reconnected.
It’s been teased that Jason should get out of the mob world, especially by Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) but there’s no way “Stone Cold” would turn his back on Sonny, unless it was to save him.
After all, the only reason he became the FBI’s lapdog was because John Cates was blackmailing Jason with the evidence he had on Carly.
While Jack wouldn’t “blackmail” Jason, he may offer a quid pro quo: help the WSB with one small project, and your “friends” don’t have to worry about prison.
General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, September 12 imply that Jason will be handed a new assignment, so will it be by Brennan?
