General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) was killed in the line of duty and deserves a proper police funeral. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is still in shock over the news, but she’ll eventually have to say goodbye to someone she considered the love of her life.
This sadly isn’t the first time Josslyn’s had to bid a fatal farewell to one of her boyfriends.
We can’t forget about Oscar Nero Quartermaine’s (Garren Stitt) brain tumor and how traumatic it was for Josslyn to lose him so young.
Now Josslyn is going to be even more scarred by loss since Dex is gone, too.
Josslyn was no doubt hoping to marry Dex someday since they’d built something real and meant to last – at least if Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) hadn’t targeted Dex the way that he did!
All signs point to Cyrus being the reason for Josslyn’s pain, so we have to ask: Will Cyrus dare to show up at Dex’s funeral? Could Cyrus crash the service and cause trouble?
It’d be a mistake on Cyrus’ part to draw attention to himself, but he’s never been in the running for any brilliant criminal awards!
Cyrus always seems to think he’s the smartest person in the room when that’s rarely true.
Plus, Cyrus likes to play up the whole religious act and make it seem like he’s one of the good guys.
With all that in mind, Cyrus might join the funeral and act like he wanted to support one of Port Charles’ finest since Dex’s life was cut so tragically short.
Cyrus might think he’s helping himself look like an innocent, sympathetic citizen – just a humble man of God who’s hoping to show compassion to those who are grieving.
In reality, this could set off alarm bells for multiple GH characters hoping to solve a major mystery.
It won’t be long until the dots connect between what happened to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and what happened to Dex, so Cyrus could be playing with fire.
It’s easy to imagine Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) or someone else kicking Cyrus out under the circumstances.
The wheels could start turning if Cyrus causes a scene at Dex’s funeral, so we’ll bring you more predictions on whether he might attend.
