General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, January 26, reveal that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will be hopeful ahead of Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) trial since Martin Grey (Michael Easton) vowed to put Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) to work for them.
It would help Finn’s case if Sam could find the mystery oncologist connected to Mr. Muldoon. That could prove that Mr. Muldoon already had an inkling about his cancer when he came to see Finn.
However, Sam won’t have much time to track this oncologist down, so that could be a problem. Liz will ask if Sam found any news that could affect the case, but the trial may have to move forward while Sam continues digging for answers.
No matter how things play out with Sam, Finn will ultimately take the stand on Friday’s episode, so that’ll bring some nerve-wracking moments.
Martin has been stressing the importance of only answering the questions asked, so there’s a good chance Finn’s going to get flustered and say a bit too much!
It could give Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) a chance to twist things around and make Finn look less sympathetic.
Next, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will tell Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) that if Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) is hiding out, then they have the address of where to find her.
A letter from Maggie Fitzgerald was found at The Invader, which indicated she wanted Esme to come visit her in Toronto. There’s also evidence that Esme bought a Toronto bus ticket, but doesn’t this all seem a little too convenient?
We know Esme is headed to Paris eventually, so there are two options here. One is that Esme will visit Maggie on the way there and the other is that this whole thing is a trick.
In other words, Esme may be sending the cops on a wild goose chase to give herself time to target Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) without interference.
Once Trina and Spencer make it to Paris, they’ll share some romantic moments and get settled in. Spencer apparently won’t check his voicemail, so he’ll miss Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) urgent message at first.
As for Laura, she’ll share some regrets back in Port Charles. Laura may feel like she put too must trust in Esme and ignored the real potential for her dangerous side to come roaring back.
At some point, Laura will meet with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and insist that she’s the next most qualified candidate.
Anna has been the police commissioner before, so will she slide back in the role on an interim basis while Mac Scorpio (John J. York) is out of town?
Other GH spoilers say Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will talk to Ava Jerome (Maura West) about some plans, so that could involve something fun for Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) and Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) or perhaps something more serious.
Ava is staying with Sonny for her own protection, so he may discuss plans to find out the source of the threat and eliminate it.
Brick (Stephen A. Smith) will also speak with Sonny and ask if Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) gets added to a particular list, so he may fish to find out whether Nina’s still in the circle of protection.
Of course, Sonny will continue to look out for Nina regardless of any problems in their marriage. It would be out of character for Sonny to just feed Nina to the wolves, but that doesn’t mean he’ll be ready to take her back yet.
At Charlie’s Pub, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will meet with Nina and get updates on all the losses she’s suffered, including Crimson thanks to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) latest round of revenge.
Valentin will ask Nina what the plan is for taking back what’s hers – and since she likely won’t have one yet, he’ll have a proposal about how Nina can get her own dose of vengeance.
General Hospital spoilers say Nina and Valentin will strike a deal soon, so stay tuned for all the hot drama ahead!
