General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, January 5, reveal that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will eventually awaken at GH, where he was taken after Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) beat him up at the church.
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will push Cyrus to reveal who did this to him, but Cyrus will point out that she might be sorry she asked once she knows the answer.
It looks like Cyrus will reveal Sonny as his attacker and relish the opportunity to trash his reputation in Laura’s eyes.
Next, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will give Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) updates on Scout Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) nightmare and how she told Scout that she didn’t have to change schools.
Drew will lash out over Sam getting the final say on what’s best for their daughter, so he’ll push back on her decision and act like she caved too quickly.
Across town, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will mourn the loss of Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) and get some help from Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) with a tough task – one that Bobbie wouldn’t want Felicia to do alone.
Perhaps Anna will help Felicia break the news to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), who’ll have an interesting chat with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) beforehand.
Cody will realize Maxie doesn’t think something is a good idea, so we’ll see what she’s not on board with and why.
Once Maxie hears about Bobbie’s passing, she’ll get some support from Cody when she needs it most.
Anna and Felicia will also spend some time reflecting on Bobbie’s past, so there’ll be some flashbacks and important memories shared.
Meanwhile, Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) will seek comfort and guidance from Sasha, who won’t turn against her over her mistakes.
Sasha has made plenty of mistakes of her own, so she’ll try to understand Nina’s perspective.
That said, Sasha will push Nina to let Sonny and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) cool off.
Trying to rush the forgiveness process isn’t going to work and could actually backfire.
“Let it be and you might get what you want,” Sasha urges Nina in Friday’s preview video.
As for Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer), she’ll pay Sonny a visit and discuss where things stand with Nina.
Lois will get the feeling that Sonny may not be done with Nina for good, so she’ll have some things to say about that.
Finally, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will land in a tight spot, so we’ll see if that involves Sam’s co-parenting drama with Drew or perhaps Cyrus’ accusations against Sonny.
General Hospital spoilers say Dante will have to navigate a tricky situation as best as he can, so stay tuned.
