General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that fans have questions now that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) have supposedly kissed and made up. Michael’s reaction to Willow’s latest lie left plenty of viewers scratching their heads, so talk about how it all went down.
In the October 31 episode, Michael agreed with Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) about no one ever having to know about their hookup. Sasha and Michael buried that secret just before Michael went home to test Willow on one of her own.
Since Michael knew there was a second kiss, he gave Willow an opportunity to tell him the rest of the story. Willow obviously didn’t take it despite Michael’s repeated mentions of that “one kiss” throughout their conversation.
If Willow had confessed the second smooch, would Michael also have confessed to hitting the sheets with Sasha? We may never know the answer to that since Willow kept quiet and Michael did the same.
Michael acted like he was willing to forgive Willow for her actions and put all this behind them, so they ultimately slept together and seemingly sealed the deal on moving forward.
It’s possible that Michael just considers them even now. We’d argue that two kisses aren’t as bad as one full-blown bedroom romp, but we’re going by Michael’s math here!
Of course, that’s not even counting the fact that Michael secretly helped Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) cover up what he did to Agent John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington).
Michael is just as much of a secret-keeper as Willow is – though he may actually be worse if we’re being honest! That said, maybe Michael was sincere about wiping the slate clean and just living with the remaining deception between them.
However, Michael’s reaction felt a bit odd under the circumstances. Willow clearly failed Michael’s test by refusing to divulge the second lip lock – and the anger on his face was hard to miss.
Wasn’t it weird that Michael’s response was to immediately strip down for passion? Is Michael really just going to move on like nothing happened?
Although it’s possible Michael thinks he already got even through that Sasha hookup, it’s also possible his sinister side is showing. On social media, some GH fans are speculating that Michael might be setting Willow up for a downfall.
In other words, maybe Michael is making Willow think they’re going to live happily ever after and plans to rip the rug out from under her later.
Michael could certainly get revenge with the hookup news and announce he wants a divorce somewhere down the line. That would mean throwing Sasha under the bus too, but Michael may not care in the end.
