General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) could change his view of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and perhaps start to view him as a hero rather than a menace to society.
GH fans know Drew has been concerned about Jason’s aggressive behavior, so he threatened to move Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) out of the Quartermaine mansion over it.
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) thankfully convinced Drew and Jason to do what was best for the kids, but Drew is keeping his guard up.
Jason would never do anything to harm Scout – at least not intentionally.
It seems more like Drew’s just mad about the very deserved beatdown he got for helping Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) cheat on Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell)!
Regardless, Drew has agreed to let Scout remain at the Q mansion as long as Jason doesn’t act like a brute anymore.
However, we see the potential for Jason to do better than that and perhaps come to Scout’s rescue in an emergency situation.
When GH writers needed Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) to undo the damage of his deception and win over Mac Scorpio (John J. York), they let him save James West (Gary James Fuller) from grave danger.
Perhaps the show could tell a similar story now and let Jason save Scout when trouble strikes.
If Jason comes through for Scout when it counts, that could alter Drew’s perception of him and put the brothers on much better terms.
There might be an opportunity for Jason to save Scout’s life and earn some praise from Drew in the end.
Of course, it’s also possible Jason could be the one to cause that danger before the rescue happens, so that could complicate things.
Drew certainly wouldn’t approve if Jason brought the risky circumstances that he’s been fearing.
That said, we’d like to see Jason change the narrative here and earn hero status in Drew’s eyes.
It probably wouldn’t make Drew and Jason best buds or anything like that, but it could at least cement their truce moving forward.
