General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) noticed something unusual during her conversation with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) in the April 15 episode. As Carly made it clear that she didn’t sleep with John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington), Jason said “copy that” and got a surprised reaction from his bestie.
After Carly pointed out that was new, Jason wondered what she meant.
Carly clarified that she just didn’t ever remember Jason saying “copy that” before, but then she quickly blew past the whole thing and continued the discussion.
However, maybe we should slow down and take a moment to consider this little piece of dialogue.
It’s worth mentioning that there was rather ominous music playing during that scene, so there might be something deeper going on here.
Of course, it’s possible Jason’s “copy that” was simply meant to show a small way that he’s changed.
Carly may start picking up on other new sayings and mannerisms as she continues to notice Jason isn’t quite the man he used to be.
That could be a good way to build to the story of what happened to Jason during his time away.
Based on Jason’s tattoos and some of his behavior lately, it seems like there’s a whole lot that fans still don’t know about his life undercover as “Alan Jacobs.”
Then again, “copy that” is such an oddly specific thing for Jason to say.
You could argue it’s a common expression, but it still feels like a strange and very particular line – like it’s meant to convey something more than just the overall change in Jason.
Could this somehow tie in with Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) radio show and any hidden communication he might be trying to send out?
Maybe Cyrus isn’t the only one who’s been delivering messages as he tries to expand his flock.
Cyrus might have some allies out there who have tried to influence Jason and mess with his head.
It’s possible Jason went through some form of programming that’s now dormant or something along those lines.
It’s also possible that Jason’s “copy that” hint will connect to something else entirely that hasn’t been revealed just yet, so that’s another option to consider.
Regardless, there may be more going on than Jason’s new expression, so stick with us for more predictions and any updates that GH writers might offer.
