General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Molly Lansing-Davis is the apple of Ric Lansing’s eye. Now that her dad is back in Port Charles, Molly feels as if she finally has someone in her family who solely supports her during this terrible time.
Actor Rick Hearst and actress Kristen Vaganos recently had a chat with SOD about their father-daughter bond, both onscreen and off. Rick was completely transparent in telling the online mag that he loves “my Haley (Pullos)” (OG Molly who entered the role in 2009.)
However, as fans know, Haley had to exit the soap in 2023 after her hit-and-run accident that occurred after she was driving the wrong way on an L.A. freeway.
Still, Hearst tells SOD that he “instantly” connected with Vaganos, noting that he knows all to well the feeling of taking over a beloved soap character (referring to his time on Guiding Light and stepping into Alan-Michael Spaulding’s shoes from 1990-1996). Hearst states that Kristen is, “… such an incredibly dedicated and diligent and intelligent and soulful poised-for-her-years actress. The fact that she shows up every day, ready to go, guns blazing, all-in, ‘Let’s make this the best we can make it,’ is the kind of stuff that reinvigorates the cast around her.”
He adds that he knew he and Kristen would “jive” together, well.
As the interview progressed, Rick also stated that as much as Kristen is defined in how she plays Molly, she’s also poised and open to the process. The two dove right in and Kristen was very welcoming of her onscreen dad.
Meanwhile, Vaganos was equally as enthusiastic to have Ric and Rick back in Port Charles. She tells SOD that she’s excited he’s on the soap and that working with him is “amazing”. She adds that when they met, there was an immediate connection/bond, and it felt like a true daddy-daughter relationship from the get-go.
General Hospital spoilers suggest that with her dad in town, the drama between Molly, and the rest of the Davis girls will continue to heat up, as Ric will undeniably stir the pot.
