General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest some interesting developments that are about to unfold in Port Charles. During the Wednesday, August 28th episode, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) is set to reach out to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
Jason has always been super close to all of Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) kids over the years because of his connection to the mob boss.
It’s easy to think that Kristina may reach out to Jason in hopes that he can help execute the revenge plans she has for Ava Jerome (Maura West), but bigger things could come out of their scenes together.
Kristina is in a dark place right now.
She’s not only lost her baby, but the plans she had to petition for custody of the child were revealed, and there is bad blood boiling between her and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos).
In a highly dramatic scene during the baby’s funeral, Molly demanded Kristina to take responsibility for the child’s passing, as Kristina crumbled in tears.
Kristina blames Ava Jerome (Maura West) for the Metro Court pool accident that caused the baby’s death and may believe her feelings of grief will be washed away if Ava “pays” for what she’s done.
Jason, much like Sonny, won’t see it this way.
Jason has a way of calming every situation down (when he isn’t taking people out), so when he talks to Kristina, he might be able to get through to her.
He may also encourage her to reach out to him if she needs anything.
With Blaze a.k.a. Allison “Allie” Rogers (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) out of the picture, this leaves Kristina without a romantic interest.
Jason has also been a single pringle since he re-entered the Port Charles scene in early March 2024, and storylines have made it clear that he likely won’t reunite with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) or Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) anytime soon.
There have been hints of something between him and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), but with Lucky Spencer’s (Jonathan Jackson) return, all bets could be off for #TeamLiason.
Could the soap tease something between Jason and Kristina? As he’s finally back in Sonny’s good graces this could be a sticky situation for Jason, especially if unexpected romantic sparks are felt.
Kristina could initially lean on Jason for support during this time as she could use a friend in town at this point, and the two may find themselves battling the idea of turning their friendship into something more romantic.
Plus, there’s the Sonny factor, as the mob boss may not be thrilled that his BFF is interested in his daughter.
Kristina’s last couple of relationships have been with women, but she’s also been involved with men in the past.
A romance with Jason should not be completely ruled out.
Kristina is a free spirit who has always gone with her gut and has refused to follow any set rules in the past.
General Hospital spoilers imply that a romance between Kristina and Jason would cause the proverbial poop to hit the fan in PC, so viewers should brace themselves for some chaos on the horizon.
