General Hospital Spoilers: Lucky’s Operation Disaster, Will Laura Lose Son as Lulu's Transplant Surgery Goes Wrong?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Lucky Spencer’s (Jonathan Jackson) tests have been going well so far. There’s just one more round of results left in the October 7 episode – and if those look good, then Lucky can move forward with donating part of his liver to save Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins) life.

Of course, we can’t ignore the fact that Lucky is putting a lot on the line for a sister who’s stuck in a coma.

Lulu has given no indication that she’s going to wake up these last few years, so some PC residents might wonder if it’s really worth the risk.

We know Lulu will indeed awaken this fall, but the characters don’t have the same information that fans do!

Nevertheless, Lucky loves Lulu and at least wants to give her a chance at survival.

The only way to do that is to move forward with this liver donation, so he certainly will if he clears this final testing hurdle.

However, we want to go back to the risks for a moment since the show’s already been playing up the danger here.

Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) reminded Lucky that there’s no such thing as a routine transplant surgery and dropped some rather ominous hints.

It just seems like GH writers may be laying the groundwork for some complications.

Plus, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will be concerned about Lucky during the week of October 7-11.

We’ll see Liz deal with some fears about what’s ahead, so the reality of what Lucky’s doing may start to worry her.

Elizabeth and Lucky still have some past issues to work through, but they’ve already been reconnecting.

Lucky is about to start reconnecting with Aiden Webber (Colin Cassidy) as well, so the last thing Liz would ever want is an operating table disaster!

Even so, one of those could be in the works if all these risky clues are building to Lucky’s near-death experience.

There might be a situation where it seems like Lucky’s life could be lost during the procedure.

This might be a great opportunity for Lucky to dream about the life he might’ve had if he’d never left Port Charles. GH loves doing special episodes like that, so we’ll see how it all plays out.

Whatever the case, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) may panic if it looks like she might lose her son in the process of trying to save her daughter!

Since Laura will be back on-screen again starting October 9, she’ll definitely become part of all the Lucky drama soon.

General Hospital spoilers say Lucky and Laura’s emotions will pour out as they reunite ahead of the surgery, so stay tuned for updates on their bond and predictions on any tricky surgery news.
