General Hospital Spoilers Recap: Tuesday, April 30 – Dex’s Proof for Jason – Nina Confesses to Maxie – Sasha Kisses Cody

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, April 30, reveals that Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) was once again horrified over hooking up with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

Someone knocked on the door while they were getting dressed, but Drew assumed it was the cleaning staff and made a phone call to say he didn’t need them tonight.

Nina eventually realized she was late for a meeting with a congressman, who was a family friend interested in making an exclusive announcement – perhaps in Crimson or The Invader.

After Nina made a phone call to reschedule, Drew insisted he wanted to be part of that congressman meeting and bickered with her. Nina agreed Drew could be there on the condition that they never crossed this passionate line again.

There was another knock on the door, but Willow revealed it was her this time. Nina scrambled to straighten up the room before Drew opened the door with his shoe untied.

Willow admitted it was her knocking earlier too, so Nina and Drew acted like they didn’t hear her and lied about going over Crimson’s photo budget.

Seeing Drew and Nina getting along made Willow wonder if she was holding onto her grievances too hard. Willow suggested maybe she could let go of her anger too, so Nina got emotional and thanked her for saying that before leaving.

Afterward, Willow praised Drew for being the bigger person and showing her the way. Drew also answered some questions about the new nonprofit spokesperson position that Willow was considering.

At Deception, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) defended her team to Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) – especially Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), who had Blaze aka Allison Rogers’ (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) best interests at heart.

Later, Nina tracked Maxie down to give her updates on the positive Willow developments. After Nina admitted the progress was because of Drew, she said they actually hated each other.

Nina added that even the hookups were hateful, so Maxie was floored over the news that she got passionate with Drew twice.

Since Willow thought Drew was some sort of stubbled superhero, Nina said the only reason her daughter was talking to her is because she thought they were getting along.

Nina knew she needed to throw Drew another bone to keep him invested in helping her, so Maxie suggested it’d be funny if Drew was the reason Nina got her family back.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) formally auditioned for the cook position with chicken tetrazzini, which Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) and Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) all deemed a hit.

Sasha took Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) a sample as well, so he voiced his approval. Once Cody heard about the live-in cook position, Sasha asked if he’d feel too crowded if she lived on the property, too.

Cody thought Sasha was cute when she was nervous, but he felt there was no need for anxiety about the dish or about crowding him. If Sasha felt crowded instead, Cody joked that she could come live up in his room while he slept with the beasts in the stables.

Sasha suddenly surged forward and kissed Cody, which left him taken aback. Olivia interrupted to reveal that despite a minor oregano issue, Sasha’s chicken tetrazzini was well-liked among her taste-testers.

Olivia officially gave Sasha the job, but she warned Cody and Sasha that there could be no late-night tiptoeing with the kids around. What Sasha and Cody did on their own time was fine, but Olivia just wanted to clarify things.

After Cody and Sasha offered reassurance, Olivia said they were very cute together and smiled as she said she had her eyes on them.

At the Metro Court, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) met with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and mentioned that Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) had decided to go back to boarding school in Switzerland.

Since Valentin and Anna missed each other, he suggested maybe they could see each other again now that Charlotte wasn’t in town. Valentin asked Anna out to dinner, but she wasn’t sure she was ready to go down that path again and had to think about it.

Next on Tuesday’s GH episode, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) cornered Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) at a bar, where he admitted Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) was afraid Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) would try to eliminate Dex.

Although Dex said he could protect himself, Jason insisted he was doing this for Josslyn’s sake and for Sonny’s. Jason also got the story of how Dex scored evidence on Pikeman for Michael and reassurance that he didn’t keep a copy for himself.

Dex talked about Valentin’s initial pitch to Sonny and then confirmed that Valentin met with Roman Hume (Mark Engelhardt) on the same day someone tried to take Sonny out. After Dex said he was positive it was the same day, he offered proof since there was a date-stamped picture.

Once Jason summoned Anna, she gave Dex a letter to welcome him as a new police academy recruit. Dex guessed he better take Jason up on his offer after all and promised to be good to Josslyn if given the chance.

After Dex exited, Jason reminded Anna that Hume was Pikeman’s rep. Jason revealed that Dex witnessed a meeting between Hume and Valentin on the same day the sniper team tried to take Sonny out at the Metro Court pool.

When Anna discovered there was date-stamped photographic evidence of that meeting, she also realized Valentin lied to her about being in Geneva at the time. Valentin was actually there in Port Charles with Hume.

Jason recalled how Pikeman briefed him on the two-man sniper team’s Metro Court pool operation. That team met with some senior personnel running the op, so Jason assumed it was Hume and Valentin.

Anna told Jason that although Valentin was good in their younger WSB days, she was better! Once Anna got Valentin on the phone, she admitted she’d been thinking about his dinner invitation.
