General Hospital Spoilers Recap: Tuesday, February 27 – Sonny Shuts Down Nina’s Vow Renewal – Maxie Kicks Spinelli Out

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, February 27, reveals that Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) brought up Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) unknown threat and questioned where Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) was since he should’ve been protecting him.

Sonny insisted that was none of her concern, but Nina said she wouldn’t stop caring about him because he served her with divorce papers.

When Nina realized Sonny was no longer wearing his wedding ring, she cried and called him out on it.

Nina said she’d never taken her own ring off, but she eventually suggested they could forget all the rings and papers.

The important thing was the love that was still between them, but Sonny said that wasn’t all that mattered.

Sonny brought up how Nina almost put Donna Corinthos’ (Scarlett Spears) mother in prison, but Nina pointed out that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) took both of her daughters.

Even so, Sonny felt that Nina had been reckless and petty, which was unforgivable in his eyes.

Nina argued that she’d been motivated by love when she kept Sonny’s survival a secret in Nixon Falls.

Although Sonny forgave Nina for that, he was upset since she’d lied once again.

Nina got Sonny to acknowledge that he still loved her, so she hoped something beautiful could come out of this mistake – that they could find the magic again and renew their vows.

Sonny couldn’t just forget the way Nina set out to punish Carly. Now it was time for Nina to face the consequences, so he stomped out of the gallery and left her distraught.

On Tuesday’s GH episode, Nina declared that Sonny may be willing to walk out on their marriage, but she never would.

In Blaze’s (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) suite, Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) kept dodging her daughter’s attempt to talk about Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) being her girlfriend.

Instead, Natalia grabbed some of Blaze’s belongings off the floor and acted like she needed to pick up after herself.

Natalia also wanted to talk about Blaze’s finances since she managed them, but Blaze pushed her mom to really hear her and have an honest conversation.

Unfortunately, Natalia acted like Kristina was influencing Blaze’s behavior and complained since she thought Kristina was a distraction from her career.

Once Natalia left in a huff, Blaze insisted she didn’t regret calling Kristina her girlfriend.

Although Blaze worried her mother might never come around, she felt free and happier with Kristina.

Blaze gave Kristina a kiss since she had to head to a foundation meeting, so they smiled as they parted ways.

However, Kristina looked pensive as she walked out the door – and Blaze also seemed deep in thought back inside.

At Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) place, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) admitted he was falling back in love with Maxie, who finally confessed she felt the same way.

Maxie acted like maybe fate brought them together through Spinelli’s plumbing problem, so he came clean about it being a ruse to help out with her financial issues.

After Maxie realized Spinelli had been in cahoots with Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), she fumed over Spinelli thinking he had to bail her out of messes.

Maxie wasn’t the same wild and crazy girl she used to be since she’d grown up. That meant Maxie could take care of herself and her kids.

Maxie also compared Spinelli’s deception to the way Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howath) had lied to her, but Spinelli protested since he wasn’t in the same league.

Nevertheless, Maxie told Spinelli to pack his bags and get out. After mulling it over a bit more, Maxie decided she’d just send Spinelli’s stuff later and pushed him to leave right now.

Once Maxie declared that they were over before they even started, she shut the door on Spinelli.

Maxie reconsidered and opened the door to call out after Spinelli soon after, but she was too late.

At Bobbie’s, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) asked if they could find a way forward or if this was the end for them.

Carly admitted she’d been missing Drew for a while now, but he claimed the man he was before Pentonville was gone for good.

Carly loved Drew so much, but she didn’t see how this relationship could work if he couldn’t let go of his Nina grudge.

Although Carly liked her role in the Crimson takeover, Drew kept finding ways to keep the feud going.

Carly knew the Drew Cain she fell for was still in there, so she suggested he had to come back or else Nina would win.

Drew argued that the only way Nina would win is if they split up.

Carly insisted that the only prison left was the one in Drew’s head, but Drew struggled to take Carly’s stance of turning the other cheek – especially after Nina had landed on her feet at The Invader.

Once Carly talked about losing Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman), she said life was too short and that she wasn’t going to waste any more time settling scores.

Drew said he wouldn’t take a second of his time with Carly for granted and appreciated it when she acknowledged the danger Nina brought to their lives.

That said, Carly felt that Nina was her own worst enemy and acted like Drew should just let her fail on her own.

Drew agreed that being together was all that mattered, so he asked if Carly had any ideas on how to make up.

That led to Carly closing Bobbie’s, taking Drew’s hand and landing in bed with him for some passion.

General Hospital spoilers say Drew and Carly will face more hurdles soon, so stay tuned for updates on the bad news that’s brewing.
