General Hospital Spoilers Recap: Wednesday, February 21 – Josslyn Traces Dex’s Location – Ava Spies Sonny & Selina’s Deal

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, February 21, reveals that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) gushed over the Deception spread in the new Crimson issue and said the plan was still for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) to run the company in the end.

Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) seemed suspicious of what Brook Lynn and Maxie were up to when she arrived, but they turned her attention to the Deception ad. Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) also showed up and offered her approval.

Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), on the other hand, thought Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) had duped them out of their original deal.

After Tracy walked in ranting, Maxie and Brook Lynn explained that Carly called to negotiate a better agreement to issues with the layout.

Lucy noticed that Maxie was quite complimentary of Brook Lynn, so she tracked Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) down to quiz her. Felicia claimed she didn’t know anything and took off in a hurry.

Later, Lucy returned to Deception and threatened to take her suspicions to Tracy about Brook Lynn being in cahoots with Maxie.

Brook Lynn wondered what it’d take for Lucy to keep her mouth shut, so Lucy smiled and admitted she wanted in.

At Charlie’s Pub, Felicia told Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) that Maxie’s finances were improving, so maybe it was time to end their deception and have his pretend pipe problem get fixed.

Spinelli acted like he’d grown accustomed to spending extra time with Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher) and her siblings, but he later admitted to Cody that his feelings for Maxie were romantic, not just platonic.

Although Spinelli didn’t want to risk the friendship by coming clean, Cody had other plans and seemed intrigued over a karaoke night flyer.

Elsewhere, Maxie opened up to Sasha about how nice it’d been to have Spinelli at the house, where they’d tell each other about their days and he’d talk like R2D2.

Sasha thought Maxie should ask Spinelli to stay, but she felt she couldn’t since she’d already asked so much of him.

Cody got Sasha on the phone as he looked at the karaoke night news and told her to do get Maxie over to Charlie’s Pub.

At The Invader on Wednesday’s GH episode, Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) approved of Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) work on the Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker) story, but she was already thinking bigger and better.

Nina talked about getting Alexis a Peabody or a Pulitzer, but Alexis acted like she was being overly ambitious.

Once Nina brought up the idea of adding a gossip columnist as well, Alexis definitely wasn’t happy about it. However, Alexis quickly realized Nina had already hired someone, so Nina felt certain Alexis would keep an open mind and dashed off.

Alexis suggested to Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) that they should talk Nina out of this gossip columnist plan or walk away with integrity, but he surprised her by seeing the benefits of adding a gossip column.

According to Gregory, if they wanted to keep people coming back for their vegetables, they perhaps needed to entice them with a little dessert. Since Alexis still wasn’t on board, she urged Gregory to find an alternative.

After Brook Lynn realized Tracy secretly wanted to ask Gregory to be her wedding plus one, she gave her grandmother a nudge to go do it.

Tracy showed up at The Invader to see Gregory and heard Alexis agreeing to be his guest for the wedding instead.

Once Tracy acted like she just came to check on the RSVPs for Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer), she hightailed it out of there – leaving Alexis and Gregory confused.

Back at Charlie’s Pub, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) comforted Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) over Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) demise and admitted she couldn’t tell Trina all the details about Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) abrupt departure.

Trina suggested Josslyn should just share what she could and asked if Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) would trust Dex to go on his own or get his guards involved.

That led to Josslyn realizing she had numbers for almost all of Sonny’s guards.

Trina wondered if Josslyn could trace them, so Josslyn suggested she knew someone who could and gazed in Spinelli’s direction.

After Trina urged Josslyn to find Dex and never let him go, she hugged her and left the pub.

Josslyn made her way over to Spinelli next and sought assistance with finding a location using a cell phone number.

Spinelli thought it might help if he knew who he was looking for, but Josslyn insisted that the less he knew, the better!

At Crimson, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was ready to celebrate Carly’s new issue, but she was upset since Olivia Jerome’s demise brought up a lot of tough Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) emotions.

After Drew comforted Carly and embraced her, Nina appeared with updates on how Drew’s move led to her career shift.

Nina mentioned that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) bought The Invader and that she was now the publisher, so she acted like she should thank Drew since everything worked out great.

Once Nina said she was interested in exposing how those at the top would do anything to stay there, she warned Carly and Drew not to cancel their subscriptions since they wouldn’t want to miss a beat!

After Carly was alone with Drew, she acknowledged that Nina was going to behave this way when provoked and questioned why Drew was still antagonizing her.

At Sonny’s place, he talked to Ava Jerome (Maura West) about Olivia’s grim fate before Selina Wu (Lydia Look) showed up.

Selina wasn’t pleased that she had to hear about the threat from Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and thought maybe they should end their alliance.

Sonny explained that he was going to tell her, but there were other factors involved.

After Sonny confided about the leak in his organization, Selina opened up about a trusted guard who revealed her location in exchange for bribes – which led to an attack.

Sonny needed access to that guard and the freedom to do whatever he needed to do for answers, so Selina struck a deal to reinstate her poker games and agreed to make that happen.

As for Ava, Selina seemed wary of her despite Sonny’s trust and willingness to accept her input.

After being sent out of the room while Sonny and Selina did most of their business, Ava watched and eavesdropped around the corner.

General Hospital spoilers say Selina and Sonny have some other exciting scenes in store, so stay tuned.
