General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) shocked Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) along with plenty of fans by admitting Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) is her father. Sasha obviously doesn’t want to believe the news since it would make Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) her first cousin and put a stop to their budding romance!
GH writers were already laying the groundwork for this twist in the September 26 episode when they had Cody talk to James West (Gary James Fuller) about Sasha being part of his family.
Of course, Cody had no idea he was actually related to Sasha according to Holly, but it’s still funny to think back on that now.
The show is definitely leaning into the drama of all this, but what if Holly’s got it wrong?
It wouldn’t be the first time someone got pregnant and made a mistake about the baby’s paternity.
Holly seems convinced that Robert is Sasha’s bio dad, but that doesn’t necessarily mean she’s right.
After all, this doesn’t really add up since Sasha used her own hair sample to fake the DNA test that Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) ordered for Cody and Mac Scorpio (John J. York).
Shouldn’t that DNA test have shown Sasha was at least a partial match if Mac is her uncle?
Felicia never acted like the results showed any Scorpio percentage at all.
It’s possible that GH writers just want fans to forget about that and roll with the new plot twist, but it’s also possible that’s a red flag that’ll ultimately be addressed.
Maybe it’ll eventually be revealed that Sasha belongs to someone else.
There’s a chance Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) could be Sasha’s father since he obviously had a romantic history with Holly.
Ethan Lovett (last played by James Ryan) is Luke’s son, so they could go ahead and make Sasha his daughter, too.
Another bio dad option would be Luke’s lookalike cousin, Bill Eckert (Anthony Geary), since he had a history with Holly as well.
The downside of making Sasha’s father Luke or Bill would be that she’d never get an opportunity to know her deceased dad.
Sasha would also be related to ex-lover Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) on the Spencer side, but what’s done is done.
All that really matters now is Sasha and Cody’s chance at a future together.
Sasha would probably be happy to learn her father is literally anyone else, so we’ll see if the show might make Luke, Bill or a surprise candidate her dad instead.
