General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the show has thankfully shifted gears when it comes to Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi). For a while, GH fans witnessed some terrible writing that made it seem like Kristina was naïve about who Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was and what he was capable of.
Fortunately, that’s changed following the writing team transition, especially in the aftermath of all the John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington) drama.
Now Kristina seems totally fine with Sonny’s crimes and how far he’ll go to protect his family.
If Kristina had gotten her way, Ava Jerome (Maura West) would be deceased at Sonny’s hands right now!
It’s nice to know Kristina isn’t scared of Sonny’s sinister side anymore since that could be important moving forward.
In the November 21 episode, Sonny urged Kristina to come work for him and suggested Corinthos Coffee would be a good fit. Kristina agreed to think about it, so we have to consider where all this is headed.
Could there be a deeper reason for Kristina potentially going to work for Sonny?
What if Kristina’s Corinthos Coffee involvement paves the way for her to join the real family business eventually?
Sonny is going to need someone to follow in his mob footsteps and take over someday. Out of all Sonny’s children, Kristina might be the best candidate.
Whatever the case, we have to believe the show’s got a goal in mind when it comes to Sonny’s job offer.
Sonny may think he can keep Kristina safe and away from all the mob mayhem, but employing her could lead her down a dangerous road.
In other words, if Kristina goes to work at Corinthos Coffee, it could potentially seal her mob fate.
Kristina may move beyond Sonny’s legitimate coffee business and ultimately get tangled up in his criminal activities sooner or later.
