General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) have developed a nice friendship.
Cody was there for Tracy when she decided to hop back into horseback riding, and he helped ease the pain of losing Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) and Dr. Hamilton Finn (Micheal Easton) leaving town.
While Tracy and Cody are just buddies, the soap has been hinting at a little more between the two.
There are definitely some odd feelings developing, as Tracy hasn’t been the nicest to Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) since she’s become Cody’s gal pal.
In fact, she’s lashed out at Sasha more than a few times.
Still, is Tracy acting out of jealousy or does Sasha simply rub her the wrong way?
There are so many moving parts to this storyline right now, as Sasha and Cody might be a thing of the past very soon.
During the week of October 14-18, it was revealed that Sasha’s mother was Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), and Sasha’s father could be Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers).
As fans wait to see the DNA test results, if Robert is Sasha’s dad, then that would make her Cody’s cousin, as Cody is Mac Scorpio (John J. York) son.
There’s also a piece to this arc that involves Cody potentially purchasing Serenity, the horse farm he grew up on. He’s been saving up to purchase it for a while now and this is his dream.
Interestingly enough, it popped up on the market last week, right before fans learned about Sasha’s “real” mom and dad; however, Cody has an obstacle purchasing it as he doesn’t have the $6M to buy it.
However, Tracy does, and there’s a good chance that despite Cody’s objections, she’ll give him the money.
Whether that’s through a loan or purchasing Serenity herself and placing his name on the deed.
It looks like the soap is lining up an exit storyline for Cody.
Not only would he be pursuing his dream, but it would make things a lot less awkward for him and Sasha if he left town.
Cody and Tracy becoming more than just friends doesn’t seem to be in the cards.
Sure, there’s the age difference, but watching them canoodle would offer the same “ick” factor that fans had when Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) shared a lip lock, as well as Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).
Still, when Cody leaves town, he’ll have some heartfelt goodbyes and emotional scenes with dad Mac, stepsister Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms), and nephew James West (Gary James Fuller).
He’ll also likely share a special moment with Tracy.
Could the two get wrapped up in emotion and end up sharing a steamy kiss?
Maybe in a different moment in time, Tracy and Cody could have had an incredible romance.
Still, if Cody reaches in for the kiss, this would not only shock GH viewers, but it would be an interesting way for him to exit.
General Hospital spoilers say that fans should always expect the unexpected.
Cody and Tracy, having a relationship in Port Charles, wouldn’t necessarily work at this point, but it would be fun to see the two share a kiss before he heads off, all alone, into the sunset!
