General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that many fans grew curious when a new face popped up to play Aiden Webber on the May 2 episode. Tristan Riggs appeared in the role Enzo De Angelis has held since 2021, so viewers wondered if this was a temporary recast situation or a permanent one.
SOD confirms that Riggs is indeed taking over the role of Aiden permanently, so prepare to see more of him on GH.
That’s especially true since it seems like a new storyline is kicking off for Aiden – one that comes with a nod to his history.
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) recently noticed some pink paint had been smeared all over Aiden’s backpack.
Although Aiden acted like it was just an accident in art class, Liz was skeptical.
After Liz recalled Aiden coming home with paint in his hair recently, she speculated that someone might’ve intentionally flicked him with it.
Elizabeth doesn’t want to hover and take away Aiden’s independence, but she also doesn’t want to stand by and do nothing if her son’s being targeted at school.
After getting some advice from Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), Liz ultimately called Aiden’s school counselor to make an appointment.
Of course, Aiden may not be too happy when he realizes Elizabeth went behind his back to set up that meeting.
If the news spreads to the teens who have presumably been making life difficult for Aiden, he could get targeted even more.
Aiden may complain if it looks like his mom is riding to the rescue and argue that he can handle this himself.
It seems likely Aiden’s classmates are harassing him for being gay since we know he’s interested in a boy named Tobias.
This isn’t the first time Aiden has dealt with problems at school since Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) made fun of him for being different when they were younger.
Cameron Webber (William Lipton) also used to fight with other students who tried to insult Aiden, but now Aiden doesn’t have his big brother around to protect him.
Aiden may be thrown into a pretty dramatic storyline moving forward, so stick with us for predictions on the trouble ahead.
