General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that someone from Lulu Spencer’s (last played by Emme Rylan) long-term care facility has just reached out to Laura Collins (Genie Francis) with news about her daughter.
Lulu’s doctor needs to speak with Laura in person right away, so Laura isn’t feeling very hopeful based on what she heard over the phone.
GH spoilers say Laura will give Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) updates in the August 19 episode and leave Anna feeling sympathetic.
Anna will wonder if there’s anything she can do, but Laura will initially shut down the idea.
However, Laura will amend her answer after thinking for a moment and realizing there’s indeed a way for Anna to help.
Although Anna and Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) haven’t been the most cooperative when it comes to searching for Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), Laura will still hope to find him as soon as possible.
That’ll be more important than ever now that Laura’s received such a troubling Lulu-related call.
Laura will pressure Anna to step up the hunt for Valentin – mostly so they can find Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) and get her home to her mother.
Of course, Laura won’t want to believe this is going to be Charlotte’s last chance to see Lulu, but that possibility will be in the back of her mind.
Charlotte would be devastated if she didn’t have a chance to say a final goodbye to her comatose mom.
Maybe some part of Laura will even hope that Charlotte’s presence could make a difference.
Since it seems Lulu has taken a turn for the worse, Laura might hope that having Charlotte and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr) around could improve things.
Whatever the case, Laura will speak with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zampogna) about Lulu’s complication and may admit she’s worried they’re going to lose her.
Having Lulu in a coma all this time allowed Laura to keep hope alive, but that hope will be dwindling now.
Thankfully, we know Lulu will pull through this ordeal since the show’s recasting Lulu for some new storylines happening this autumn.
In the meantime, Laura will focus on doing everything she can to bring Charlotte home!
