General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) went through a mother’s worst nightmare when Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) landed in a coma.
There were concerns about whether Dante would wake up, so Olivia has been a nervous wreck along with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante’s other loved ones.
This certainly seems like a time when Olivia should’ve been leaning on her husband, but Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) has been totally absent from this storyline.
When the news of Dante’s injury first broke, Ned and Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) were in Australia together.
Once Leo and Ned got updates on Dante’s ordeal, they hopped on a plane and headed back to Port Charles.
Unfortunately, that never resulted in any on-screen comfort for Olivia. It would’ve been nice to see Ned supporting Olivia at some point, but that didn’t pan out.
Now Dante is recovering nicely, but many GH viewers are still wondering when we might finally see Ned again.
A Ned and Olivia fan account recently posted a message about missing Ned, so they tagged Wally Kurth on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, to ask where Ned was.
Although Kurth didn’t go into the details of why he’s been off-screen for so long, he did confirm that a Ned sighting isn’t too far away.
“He’ll be back soon…” Kurth said in his reply.
It’s good to know that Ned will be returning on-screen before long, especially since Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) could use some extra family bonding.
Tracy is showing some signs of depression, so Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) has encouraged her to get moving a bit more and find an activity she can enjoy.
Although Tracy’s indeed going to get back into horseback riding, the support of her loved ones couldn’t hurt!
Let’s hope Ned and Tracy have some scenes coming up since it’s always fun to see their playful bickering.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) also have a wedding in the works, so Ned will surely be present for his daughter’s big day.
