General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) may be setting herself up for some heartbreak that could drive her over the edge. For starters, Willow has blown apart her marriage to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and the family they’ve spent the last few years creating together.
Although Willow is treating Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) like he walks on water, she’s in for a rude awakening.
Drew is pretty much a terrible person at this point, so Willow seems poised to realize that sooner or later.
The fact that Drew repeatedly slept with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is obviously something he should’ve disclosed by now.
Nina deserves some flak for her silence as well, but Drew’s the one trying to sell what he has with Willow as some great love story.
It’s going to be a shock when Willow discovers Drew and Nina’s hookups.
That could certainly make Drew look a little less like Willow’s hero and a little more like the sleazeball that he actually is!
Willow has hyped Drew up as this amazing guy in her head, but that illusion could start to shatter.
The same goes for Willow’s newfound relationship with Nina, which could crumble once she finds out about Drew and Nina’s secret romps.
There’s even a chance that Nina and Drew will surrender to temptation again at some point.
Drew can never seem to control his own impulses, so we have no qualms believing that he’d betray Willow with Nina or even someone else.
At some point, Willow may regret throwing away her marriage to Michael like it was nothing.
It’s true that Michael kept plenty of secrets throughout their relationship, but he usually did that with Willow’s protection in mind.
Michael made a mistake when he landed in bed with Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson), but that wouldn’t have happened if Willow had stayed loyal and truly appreciated the life she’d built with her husband.
Now that life’s going to change forever – and there’s no way for Willow to make a firm prediction about how this custody situation will turn out.
Sooner or later, Willow may find herself wallowing in a pit of regret.
What happens if Willow sees Drew’s colors, turns against Nina and wishes her blissful family with Michael was still intact?
If Willow’s Drew bubble bursts and she loses everything, she just might snap!
It might be fun to watch Willow go off the rails and basically become Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) 2.0 for a crazy arc.
GH writers might’ve even offered a hint when Willow thought Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) was comparing her to Nelle and took umbrage.
Willow basically kicked Lucas out over that, but what if it was a clue that she’s headed down a demented path of her own?
