General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, August 15, reveals that while the search for James West (Gary James Fuller) remained underway, he hid in the Quartermaine boathouse and eavesdropped on Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) conversation with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
James overheard Willow talking about her Fourth of July kiss with Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) and all the things she found attractive about him.
Willow knew it was wrong due to her marriage to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), but Nina acted like she was human and downplayed everything.
Afterward, Nina and Willow headed to the Quartermaine kitchen, where Michael invited Nina to attend an extended family dinner happening later this month – and he mentioned Drew would be there.
Next, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) ripped into Mac Scorpio (John J. York) for coming between Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and James as a way to punish Cody.
Outside the stables, Cody blamed himself for James going missing, but Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) insisted it wasn’t his fault and felt confident they could find James soon.
Once James came out of the boathouse, he tried to retrieve a flying disc that had fallen into the lake and fell in.
James cried out for help, so Cody heard him and jumped in for a rescue.
After Cody pulled James to safety, Mac came along to see that Cody had saved the day.
At Deception, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) was all for Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) becoming CFO and accepting Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) money, but Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) stood against the idea.
After Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) went over the details and convinced Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) that the money was clean, she headed to Deception and shared that she believed the offer was legit.
Natalia vowed to drop the deal herself if she found evidence of anything shady, so Lucy ultimately gave her a warm welcome as their new CFO.
Even so, Tracy worried about the possibility Sonny’s involvement ending the company.
Back at Sonny’s penthouse, Jason relayed some news from Brick (Stephen A. Smith) about John Cates (Adam J. Harrington) escorting Clement Moore (Philip Cass) out of GH the last day he was seen.
Jason and Sonny mulled over whether John might’ve had a hand in his medication getting altered.
Once Sonny found out John was at the gallery with Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), he wanted all three of them watched.
Since John was clearly willing to cross lines when it came to going after him, Sonny suggested he might have to the same.
At the gallery, John hugged Ava since he felt he was so close to Sonny’s takedown thanks to her.
Ava asked about a plan B in case things didn’t work out with this Clement scheme, but John was confident in his trap.
Scott got updates on the plan to use Clement as bait and suggested hiding him at Wyndemere, which was still empty following the sale of it.
Ava suggested Clement could rat her out for knowing Sonny’s meds were altered, but Scott acted like they could cut a deal.
Ava also worried about the photos of her altercation with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi), but John made a prediction about the pics telling a different story depending on how you looked at them.
Scott eventually made his way to Clement’s location and prepared to transport him to Wyndemere.
