General Hospital Thursday, July 25 Recap: Carly’s Arrest Stops Jason’s Bus Trip, Sonny Witnesses John’s Move

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, July 25, reveals that Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) made Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) a snack from her childhood and did her best to lift Violet’s spirits. When Sasha agreed to let Violet become her kitchen apprentice, Violet was thrilled.

Outside the Quartermaine boathouse, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) awaited Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) arrival for a picnic, but shirtless Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) interrupted after a swim in the lake.

Willow seemed transfixed by Drew’s abs for a moment and got updates on the town hall event he had to get ready for.

Once Michael showed up and Drew took off, Willow talked to Michael about Drew’s concerns.

Since Drew was worried about no one showing up, Michael made a phone call and arranged for a bunch of ELQ employees to be there.

Drew forgot his watch and came looking for it, which led to a spark-filled moment with Willow as she gave it back and touched his hand.

After Drew found out about Michael rounding up supporters for his event tonight, he was grateful.

However, Michael privately told Willow that he did it for her since he knew Drew’s campaign meant a lot to her.

At Pentonville, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) tried to visit Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure), but the warden (Dutch Johnson) said there was no prisoner there by the name of Jack or John Brennan.

In fact, there was no record of Brennan ever having been there at all, so Anna quickly realized there was a cover-up to hide Brennan’s prison stint.

Since John Cates (Adam J. Harrington) still hadn’t picked up his luggage in the Metro Court lobby, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) ordered an employee to put it out on the street if it wasn’t collected within the hour.

Meanwhile, John continued flirting and strategizing with Ava Jerome (Maura West) before deciding to grab a bottle of scotch from his suite.

When John discovered that his key card no longer worked, he headed down to the front desk for a new one.

Carly came strutting over to make it clear that she was throwing John out of her hotel.

John advised her to call Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and reconsider, but Carly was done letting John use his leverage and said she could defeat him in court.

Carly taunted Agent Cates until he finally arrested her right in front of Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza).

After Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) gave Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) bad news about Ava securing court-ordered visitation of Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola), they also watched Cates put the handcuffs on Carly.

When Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) showed up and assumed Carly had turned herself in, Sonny accused Anna of working with John.

Anna assured Sonny that she was against this arrest and tried to help Diane convince John to stand down.

However, John was adamant about taking Carly into custody, so she pushed Josslyn and Gio to stop Jason from leaving town.

At the bus station, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) was able to track Jason down since he heard an announcement about a bus departure over the phone.

Jason still couldn’t offer any real details, but he assured Danny that leaving wasn’t his choice and shared a proper goodbye with him.

Danny also made Jason assure him that this wouldn’t be the last time they saw each other.

Just before Jason was about to get on the bus to Alexandria, Gio and Josslyn rushed in. Josslyn insisted Jason couldn’t leave since Agent Cates had just arrested Carly, so Jason looked troubled.

Next on Thursday’s GH episode, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) showed Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) the Perez Hilton interview, which they both fumed over due to how Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) handled the baby bump situation.

Since Kristina simply thanked Perez when he congratulated her and said they were keeping that part of their lives private, Molly and TJ acted like Molly just claimed their child on live TV.

Since Molly viewed this as Kristina’s way of making the world think the baby was hers, she decided it was time to use the law to fight her sister.

General Hospital spoilers say Kristina and Molly’s feud is about to soar to new heights, so we’ll offer more predictions on all the surrogacy trouble.
