General Hospital Thursday, June 20 Recap: Finn Quits GH & Bans Liz from Violet – Sam Takes Audio File to Carly

General Hospital Thursday, June 20 Recap- Finn Quits GH & Bans Liz from Violet, Sam Takes Audio File to Carly.

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, June 20, reveals that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) found Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) in the coffee warehouse, where she offered updates on Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) Congress run and the media spotlight that could trickle over to Jason.

Carly also reflected on Jason missing out on so much of his life because of this FBI arrangement.

Although Carly wondered what was so important that it was worth losing all that time, Jason simply insisted he’d complete an important job and take his life back.

At GH, Terry Randolph (Cassadra James) forced Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) to take a break so they could discuss Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) drinking issues.

Liz still loved Finn and knew he was sick, but Terry pointed out that Finn had to want the help.

At home, Finn assured a worried Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) that he’d be fine alone since he’d be busy at work while she was at the pool with Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher).

Once Violet was picked up for her pool day, Finn considered taking a drink before putting the bottle back.

Back at the hospital, Finn tried to clear the air with Elizabeth, who pointed out that they were still family through Violet.

Finn assured Liz that Violet was at the pool with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and her kids, so Liz was glad to hear that.

Although Finn was ready to get back to work, Terry and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) summoned him for a meeting after clearing his schedule.

Once Finn realized this meeting was about his drinking, he flew into a rage.

Due to Finn’s past struggles with addiction, Portia and Terry revealed that he’d have to attend AA meetings and work under supervision.

If Finn didn’t cooperate, then they’d have to take it to the medical board – and that could bring the possibility of him losing his license.

Finn assumed Elizabeth stirred all this up and ranted about how the patent for his cure saved the hospital.

After Finn quit and stormed out, he found Elizabeth again and completely banned her from Violet.

Once Finn made it home, he immediately went for the booze and began downing glass after glass.

Although Portia assured Elizabeth that she did the right thing by reporting Finn’s drinking, Liz worried he’d have regrets once he sobered up.

At Maxie’s place, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) shared a warm reunion with Mac Scorpio (John J. York), who’d been canoodling on the sofa with Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner).

Mac found out about John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington) returning to town and causing all sorts of drama according to Anna.

In Damian Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) tech space, he explained to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) that although he found the necessary audio file, he couldn’t change it or delete it.

Spinelli could only play it, so Sam pushed him to do that so they could know what they were dealing with.

Once Spinelli played the recording, Sam was livid to learn Jason did all this for Carly.

After Sam got Spinelli to make a copy of the audio file for her, he grew concerned about her plans as she stormed off to protect her children at all costs.

Sam quickly headed to Carly’s office and said there was something she needed to hear.

At the Metro Court pool, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) told Maxie that she was walking on air after attending Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) birthday party, so she explained how Drew helped her score an invitation.

Maxie was worried about Nina manipulating the situation and causing a setback with Willow if she found out about her secret Drew affair.

Nina felt confident that her quid pro quo with Drew was going splendidly and acted like everyone would win if she helped him with his run for Congress.

Nearby, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) told Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) that Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) boyfriend passed away unexpectedly in February, so he promised to tread carefully.

After Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) showed up and asked Josslyn for help practicing for a PCPD volleyball game, she agreed to give him some tips if he’d help her move in her new apartment with Trina.

Back with Gio, Trina told him about Dex and Josslyn trying to figure things out after their breakup. Gio admired the way Trina cared about her friends as much as they cared about her.

Once Maxie took the kids home, James West (Gary James Fuller) asked if Violet could stay over tonight, but Violet immediately shut down the idea.

At the coffee warehouse again, Jason warned Anna about Drew running for Congress, which could put the spotlight on his twin brother, too.

Since Jason would be useless to the FBI if his profile got too high, he was nervous about the delay on the evidence against Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

Jason snapped that he didn’t go through all this for John to arrest Carly, so he was running out of time.

Toward the end of Thursday’s GH episode, Anna made a prediction about getting what Jason wanted and busting Valentin.

General Hospital spoilers say Jason will continue to worry about the threat to Carly’s freedom, so stay tuned for more news on her future.
