General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, June 11, reveals that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) showed up in Jack Brennan’s (Charles Mesure) room at GH after being summoned. John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington) arrived soon after since he got an alert every time Brennan had a visitor.
Although John was suspicious of what Anna and Brennan had to discuss, Anna suggested she was still waiting on Brennan to explain.
Once John took off, Brennan admitted that John now suspected Anna could secretly be running Pikeman.
Anna had nothing to hide and wasn’t scared of John, but Brennan thought she should be.
As Anna wondered if she ever really knew the real Jack Brennan, she questioned why he got tangled up in all this Pikeman business to begin with.
Brennan suggested it was about the money before once again warning Anna that John suspected she was in charge of Pikeman.
Anna ultimately asked if Brennan would’ve killed her if she hadn’t arrested him first, but he simply told her that he’d never been good at hypotheticals.
In a suite at the Metro Court, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) showed up to strategize with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson).
Since John’s badge could be used to access the FBI files they needed, Spinelli and Sam came up with a plan to steal it from his bag during his morning swim.
At the pool, Sam pretended to trip due to her new shoes and landed in John’s arms.
After faking an injury, Sam let John carry her over to a lounge chair and put some ice on her ankle.
That gave Spinelli a chance to swipe the badge and scan it around the corner before returning it.
Meanwhile, Sam played up how she was divorced and single with two kids.
John mentioned being divorced as well and listened to Sam trash her ex for faking his death.
Once Sam saw that Spinelli had wrapped up his part of their mission, she told John that her ankle was feeling better and questioned if he was sticking around town on business.
John wasn’t sure, but he hoped to see more of Sam.
Although Spinelli was able to use John’s badge info to access the system, he admitted to Sam it could take a month or more to sort through all the documents.
Outside Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) door, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) opted not to answer Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) call right now.
Instead, Chase went inside Finn’s unlocked apartment with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), so they both saw that the place was a mess – complete with a tequila bottle on the table.
When Finn eventually came out of the bedroom, he expressed surprise over Brook Lynn and Chase’s early visit.
After Finn asked if they’d talked to Liz and got confirmation that Chase and Brook Lynn hadn’t, he admitted that they broke up last night.
Although Brook Lynn and Chase tried to pitch their summer camp experience idea for Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) at the Quartermaine mansion, Finn saw right through their tactic and refused to let them take his daughter away.
Chase tried speaking to Finn alone and pushed him to see that the alcohol was a problem, but Finn was in denial and acted like “golden boy” Chase couldn’t understand.
After Chase pointed out that Violet shouldn’t have to watch Finn self-destruct, Finn reiterated that he wouldn’t let his daughter be taken from him.
With angry tears in his eyes, Finn told Chase to “get the hell out” and cried even harder after Chase headed out the door.
Back with Brook Lynn, she gave Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) updates on Finn’s alcoholic downward spiral.
Lois reflected on some family members who struggled with alcoholism and hated that Brook Lynn wasn’t enjoying blissful newlywed life, but BLQ just wanted to support Chase.
At home, Elizabeth eventually spilled her breakup news to Jake Webber (Hudson West) and Aiden Webber (Tristan Riggs). That led to Aiden thinking it seemed like Jake knew more than him, so he pushed the rest of the story.
Once Aiden found out Jake spotted a drunk Finn coming out of the bar with a woman, he thought maybe his brother was wrong.
Aiden didn’t understand since there wasn’t even a bar near the movie theater, where Jake had supposedly gone.
Jake got caught in his lie and scrambled to explain, but Elizabeth stopped him and acknowledged that he wasn’t where he said he’d be.
Even so, Liz was grateful to Jake for risking getting in trouble to tell her the truth – and for calling Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) since she appreciated the backup.
It also meant a lot to Jason that Jake reached out, but Jake clarified that he did it for Elizabeth.
Our GH predictions point to Jake and Jason making more progress in their relationship soon, so we’ll keep you posted on their attempt to connect.
General Hospital spoilers say Liz will continue to see some positive signs and help Jake patch things up with Jason as best as she can.
