General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, November 19, reveals that the minister invited Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) loved ones to share memories at the front of the church, so Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) was up first followed by Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi).
After Sam’s sisters said some heartfelt words, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) spoke about Sam befriending a nerd and giving him a friendship with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) as well.
Sam also gave Spinelli the confidence to get together with his dream girl, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).
Although Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) had complicated relationships with Sam, they ultimately considered her a friend and took their own turns speaking about her.
As for Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson), he didn’t know why Sam was taken from them, but he said his family would be forever in her debt for what she did for Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins).
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) talked about Sam pulling him out of a tough time and giving him a beautiful, blended family.
Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) also gushed over Sam becoming a mother figure and giving him a family with Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).
Jason was up next, so he spoke about being grateful for the years he had with Sam and for the son they shared.
Danny followed Jason’s speech with one about Sam’s favorite things, but he acknowledged that she loved her kids most of all.
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) hated that she missed out on Sam’s childhood, but she was glad to have found her daughter as an adult.
Now Alexis wanted to honor Sam by tackling her grief with bravery and not wallowing in it too long.
At one point during Sam’s funeral, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) noticed Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) was missing and brought it up to Carly, who didn’t know where he was.
In the cemetery, Ava Jerome (Maura West) was pleased to see Lucas visiting Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) grave, but she wondered why he wasn’t at Sam’s service.
Lucas offered updates on Danny blaming him for Sam’s demise, so Ava wondered if he was actually responsible.
Although Lucas suggested they wouldn’t know until the autopsy results came in, he made a prediction about always carrying some guilt since he was Sam’s surgeon.
Ava tried to comfort Lucas a bit before the conversation shifted to Julian.
Since Julian was spared the pain of losing a child, Ava thought that was one good thing that came out of him losing his own life first.
Back at the church, Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) played his violin as the funeral wrapped up.
Alexis wanted one last moment with all her girls, so Kristina and Molly joined her in sitting in front of Sam’s portrait.
After a montage of great Sam moments over the years, the show shifted gears for an exciting cliffhanger.
In Lulu’s room, she opened her eyes and rubbed them while looking disoriented. GH fans could see that her ID bracelet said, “Spencer, Lesley Lu.”
