General Hospital Wednesday, August 14 Recap: Willow’s Admission to Drew, Missing James Crisis

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, August 14, reveals that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) distracted Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) with bedroom passion as long as she could, but he ultimately took off since he had a meeting.

In the park, James West (Gary James Fuller) pouted and refused to join in the Frisbee fun, so Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) questioned him.

James was upset over Mac Scorpio (John J. York) not letting him ride horses with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) anymore

Nearby, Mac played up the new ranch where he wanted James to ride, but Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) made it clear that it wasn’t his call.

Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) ultimately warned Mac not to risk damaging his relationship with James over this.

Once Nina showed up, Maxie quickly figured out that she’d hit the sheets with Drew again.

Nina thought Drew would come to see their own entanglement as more enjoyable than causing trouble in Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) marriage.

Since all the adults were busy, James was able to sneak off without anyone noticing.

Although Mac came around on the idea of Cody giving James riding lessons, Maxie couldn’t find James to give him the news.

Maxie, Spinelli, Nina, Mac and Felicia all began to search for James while Cody played backgammon with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) at the stables.

Tracy opened up about how Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) first became her friend and shared how much she missed him.

In the Quartermaine kitchen, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) was perplexed over Drew bailing on their meeting with some caterers for a fundraiser.

Although Sasha thought Willow could call Drew, Willow got all nervous and shut down the idea.

In fact, Willow made it clear that she wouldn’t be around Drew much anymore since she was leaving the New Hope Institute and going back to work at GH.

Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) appeared and got updates on Willow’s decision along with Drew, who apologized to Sasha for his late arrival.

Although Sasha privately praised Michael for rolling with Willow’s latest career change, he didn’t think he had much choice.

Michael wound up talking to Sasha about Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and giving her a gentle nudge to put her heart back out there.

Sasha found Cody at the stables and said she was done being scared, so they kissed until Maxie interrupted looking for James.

Back with Nina, she got a call from Michael about Willow leaving the New Hope Institute and knew exactly why!

In the boathouse, Willow was gathering up some stuff for the beach when Drew offered to help. Willow got visibly rattled and faced Drew’s questions since he feared she was leaving the institute because of him.

Since Willow wanted to protect her marriage, she insisted she couldn’t be around Drew any longer.

Willow couldn’t stop thinking about Drew, so she had to distance herself before she did something else she regretted.

Once Willow dashed off, Drew stood there looking worried and overwhelmed.

Over with Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), he joined Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) for breakfast.

Gio expressed concern about Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) legal situation and his violinist gig at the gallery.

Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) opinion mattered to Gio, but Lois acted like he shouldn’t worry so much about what Sonny thinks.

Lois’s sudden attitude shift toward Sonny left Brook Lynn raising an eyebrow, so she quizzed her mom after Gio left.

At Sonny’s penthouse, Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) showed up to say goodbye since she saw no reason to stay now that Blaze aka Allison “Allie” Rogers (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) had gone on tour.

Sonny offered to give Natalia a reason to stick around and called Brook Lynn with a proposition, so she came over and brought Lois with her.

Now that the record label wasn’t happening due to Blaze’s departure, Sonny offered to invest in Deception instead – though his one condition was that Natalia be hired.

Sonny felt confident that Natalia could look after his investment since she was a whiz with numbers and had proven she had negotiation skills.

Once Brook Lynn and Natalia took the pitch to Tracy, she wasn’t pleased over Sonny’s offer and warned that they’d accept it over her dead body!

Back with Sonny, he apologized to Lois for how he acted when he was off his meds.

Lois assured Sonny that they’d always be friends, but she still worried about whether the money was legit.

Sonny swore that it was, but Lois pointed out that even Sonny’s reputation could be a factor and bring scrutiny.

Lois didn’t want Sonny dragging Brook Lynn’s business down just because he was trying to impress Natalia.

General Hospital spoilers say Sonny will have to find a way to get Lois on board, so stick with us for more predictions on how Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) might help.
