General Hospital Wednesday, July 10 Recap: Ava Orders Full Placebos for Sonny – Jason & Carly Discuss Mob Boss’ Meds

General Hospital Wednesday, July 10 Recap- Ava Orders Full Placebos for Sonny, Jason & Carly Discuss Mob Boss’ Meds.

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, July 10, reveals that Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) offered Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) coffee and tried to play it cool, but she seemed uncomfortable as she flashed back to watching his kiss with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) last night.

Willow also seemed on edge as she appeared and accepted Sasha’s breakfast offer, but Sasha eventually made her way to the Quartermaine stables.

Sasha almost told Cody the secret she was keeping, but her plan was derailed when he revealed that he told Mac Scorrpio (John J. York) the truth about their father-son connection.

Cody admitted he wanted to leave town since Mac was so furious, but he said Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) made him promise he wouldn’t. Of course, Cody’s real reason for staying was more about Sasha, so she was glad to hear it and gave him a kiss.

At Maxie’s place, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) wondered if there was a possibility that Cody was lying about being Mac’s son. This just didn’t make sense considering the secret follow-up DNA test that Felicia ordered, which proved Cody and Mac weren’t a match.

Sasha arrived to admit she’d known the truth for months, so she came clean about swapping in her own hair sample to give Cody more time to confess on his own. Felicia and Maxie forgave Sasha since they knew she was stuck in a difficult situation.

As for Mac and Cody, Maxie wondered what they could do to help them since they were both stubborn.

Back with Willow, she talked to Drew about how wrong their kiss was and felt they’d already hurt Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) with their actions. However, Drew assured Willow that there was no reason why their impulsive move had to change anything.

Michael eventually popped up, so Willow left while he talked business with Drew. That led to Michael asking Drew if Willow seemed off.

Michael admitted to always worrying about whether Willow’s cancer was coming back.

Although Michael mentioned Willow having trouble sleeping last night, he decided he’d try to stop fretting if Drew thought she was fine.

Back with Willow, Cody found her spending time with Comet in the stables. Willow talked to Cody about the horses and fireworks before the conversation shifted to Drew’s campaign.

Cody thought Willow should get more involved since she was one of the more appealing Quartermaine family members.

Meanwhile, Ava Jerome (Maura West) got a visit from Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), who had updates on Diane Miller’s (Carolyn Hennesy) countersuit and Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) push for full custody of Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).

Ava seemed fixated on Scott’s previous comment about Sonny having a public meltdown, but he doubted Sonny would let that happen during a custody feud.

Next on Wednesday’s GH episode, Ava headed back to the shady pharmacist and informed him that he was going to change Sonny’s quarter strength meds to zero – meaning they’d be total placebos.

Ava vowed to expose the pharmacist’s medication tampering to Sonny if he didn’t keep supplying the placebos for as long as she wanted.

Once the pharmacist caved in, Ava told him to make up a story about a consultation if anyone found out she was there and started asking questions.

At Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house, Sonny was grateful to her for letting Avery stay over with Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears). Carly and Jason were actually getting along pretty well until Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) walked in.

Sonny glared at Jason in a tense moment and ultimately warned Carly that she could be called to testify in his looming custody battle with Ava.

After Sonny sought reassurance that Carly wouldn’t trash him in court, Carly suggested that if she was going to trash anyone, it’d be Ava instead.

Sonny started to head out, but he paused to ask Jason about the FBI investigation and whether any dirt had been found on him. Jason once again made it clear that he wasn’t after Sonny.

Once Sonny was gone, Carly pushed Jason to tell Sonny the truth about working with John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington) to protect her. Jason couldn’t risk Sonny’s reaction, especially when his behavior had been so volatile lately.

Carly assured Jason that Sonny was taking his meds, but Jason still felt like something was going on. Jason expressed concern about the possibility that Sonny could kill Agent Cates if he heard the real story.

Carly knew Sonny going to prison was the last thing they needed, especially since she might end up there, too. Jason insisted that wouldn’t happen, but Carly pointed out that it may not be up to him.

After Ava made it back to her suite at the Metro Court, Sonny arrived and noted that he was going to record this conversation. Once Sonny brought up the custody suit, he warned Ava not to do this since he’d bury her.

Ava bickered with Sonny until she finally opened the door and ordered him to leave. Sonny insisted he wasn’t going anywhere, so John popped up in the doorway and asked if there was a problem.
