General Hospital Wednesday, June 19 Recap: Sonny Learns a Secret – Alexis’ Law License Fate – Mac’s Surprise

General Hospital Wednesday, June 19 Recap Sonny Learns a Secret, Alexis’ Law License Fate, Mac’s Surprise

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, June 19, reveals that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) teased Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) about being an overachiever since he showed up for work almost an hour early.

Once Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) brought Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) for swimming lessons, Gio met her before sharing a private conversation with Sonny.

Since Gio transferred to PCU on a full ride, Sonny suspected Gio didn’t want him paying his tuition anymore. Gio suggested it was a bit more complicated than that, but paying his own way was indeed a factor.

After Gio reconvened with Josslyn, he explained that “Uncle Sonny” had been so helpful over the years, but he didn’t want to take advantage of him.

Next, Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) showed up after leaving Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) a voicemail about their Metro Court pool meeting.

Once Natalia ran into Sonny, she praised Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) for saving the day at Blaze aka Allison “Allie” Rogers’ (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) recording session.

After Natalia chatted with Sonny about the music industry and her evolving concept of love, she had to go deal with some Deception business.

Natalia left a flash drive with Blaze’s new recordings on it so that Sonny could pass it along to Brook Lynn.

In Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) office, she told Brook Lynn and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) was unwilling to accept help.

Chase and Brook Lynn sought guidance regarding Violet Finn (Jophielle Love), so Alexis warned them that she could end up in a group home or another foster care situation if they called CPS.

Alexis thought Brook Lynn and Chase should speak with a social worker, so Chase wound up meeting with Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) alone while Brook Lynn dealt with some business.

Chase didn’t go into the specifics, but he said enough for Stella to realize he was concerned about Finn’s drinking and Violet’s well-being.

Once Stella advised Chase to gather the necessary evidence, Chase asked if she wanted him to build a case against Finn.

Stella argued that it was really about building a case to help Violet.

Back with Alexis, she got a visit from Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy), who had a letter with the outcome of her appeal.

Alexis pushed Diane to open it for her, so Diane acted like the good news was that the court had vacated her disbarment.

The bad news was that Alexis’ law license had been suspended for two years.

However, Diane ultimately revealed she was messing with Alexis since the suspension started four years ago and was already over.

Alexis and Diane wound up dancing in the office since they were so thrilled over Alexis becoming a lawyer again.

At Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) house, Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher) opened the door to Mac Scorpio (John J. York), who was back from his mission.

Mac shared a warm reunion with Georgie, Maxie, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Bailey Lou Jones (Riley and Miley Plonski), but Maxie had trouble getting Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) on the phone.

Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) eventually brought James West (Gary James Fuller) home from the stables, so James reunited with Grandpa Mac as well.

There was some awkwardness as Mac greeted Cody and tried to catch up on everything he missed.

Once Cody took off, Maxie played up how much James looked up to Cody and acted like he’d become a superhero in her household – just like Mac.

As Cody opened up to Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) in the stables, he admitted he found his real father and that he was a wonderful guy.

Cody was just afraid since he’d deceived his bio dad and didn’t think he could walk it back now.

Tracy disagreed and suggested that one confession might change everything.

Felicia continued to avoid answering Maxie’s texts and calls at GH, but she finally came home after work and wondered what all the fuss was about.

Mac appeared, so Felicia gave him a kiss and welcomed him back.

At the Metro Court pool again, Brook Lynn realize Natalia had already bailed on their meeting, but Sonny passed along the flash drive she left behind.

Since Sonny could see that something was wrong, Brook Lynn gave him updates on Finn’s booze struggles and all the concerns about Violet.

Sonny shared those concerns and warned that someone drunk could become a stranger to their kid.

After Sonny reflected on experiencing that in his childhood, he felt confident that Brook Lynn wouldn’t let Violet be in that situation.

General Hospital spoilers say Brook Lynn and Chase will do everything they can to keep Violet safe, but our predictions point to Finn spinning out as a result.
