General Hospital Wednesday, October 30 Recap: Lucas Can’t Save Flatlining Sam, Sasha & Michael Wake Up in Bed Together

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, October 30, reveals that Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) woke up in bed with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) before a flashback showed them drinking together and hitting the sheets last night.

Sasha and Michael agreed they didn’t mean for this to happen.

Michael also found out that Sasha had spotted Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) kissing on the Fourth of July, but he wasn’t mad that she kept quiet.

As Sasha talked to Michael about Willow beating herself up and confiding in her, she accidentally let it slip about Willow’s second kiss with Drew.

Michael was furious since kissing Drew twice meant Willow made a conscious choice, but Sasha hated that she blabbed and did her best to defend Willow.

Of course, Michael and Sasha had to acknowledge that they weren’t blameless since they just slept together, but Michael acted like Drew was mostly to blame for everything that had gone down.

At the Quartermaine gatehouse, Drew stopped by to check on Willow, but she didn’t think he should be there in case Michael came home.

Drew stayed anyway and learned Willow was just about to tell Michael the truth when he spilled first.

Drew explained the blackmail situation and was sorry for how things played out.

Although Willow said she was going to tell Michael everything – including about the second kiss – Drew made a prediction that it’d only hurt Michael more.

At Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) place, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) woke up with a hangover and chatted with James West (Gary James Fuller), who was already in his Halloween costume.

Once James left for a party, Maxie admitted she already knew Sasha was Cody’s first cousin since Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) was friends with Holly Sutton (Emma Samms).

Maxie also knew about Drew kissing Willow and sleeping with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), so she complained about Cody’s public spectacle.

Cody was fed up over Drew acting like he was better than everyone else when he had scandalous secrets.

After Maxie gave Cody a pep talk and advised him to steer clear of Drew, he wondered if this was what having a sister was like.

In Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) office, she confirmed to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) that Heather Webber (Alley Mills) had left town.

Trina asked if Portia had anything to do with that, but Portia denied it.

At the Surf Lodge restaurant, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) surprised Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) with news on his engagement to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).

Rocco seemed disappointed about Dante moving on from Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins), but Dante reminded him that Sam helped them find happiness and a family again.

At GH, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) snuck Sam some Halloween candy and gushed over her engagement once Sam showed off the ring.

Alexis knew Dante was Sam’s perfect match and was clearly pleased over this romantic development.

Meanwhile, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) brought Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) to visit their mom at the hospital.

Suddenly, beeping could be heard as Alexis scrambled to alert the staff to some trouble in Sam’s room.

Alexis was visibly alarmed as she locked eyes with Jason and shook her head, so he urged Danny to take Scout over to Bobbie’s for some food.

Outside the restaurant, Scout wondered if Alexis looked weird at the hospital, but Danny acted like she was probably just tired.

Back with Alexis, she gave Jason updates on Sam suddenly going pale.

One minute Sam had been fine and the next she was in distress. Jason looked worried as he put a hand on Alexis’ back to comfort her.

In Sam’s room, Portia and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) helped Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) try to save her.

Despite all the chest compressions and heart shocking, nothing could bring Sam back after she flatlined.

After 30 minutes, Portia gave Lucas a gentle nudge to call it.

Lucas was in denial and kept wanting to try again, but he finally surrendered and said the time of death was 5:48 p.m.

Sam’s monitor was turned off as Wednesday’s episode came to a sad conclusion.

General Hospital spoilers say Sam’s sudden demise will bring questions and meltdowns, so don’t miss all the action.
