General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of July 1-5 reveal that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) may be torn about how to proceed now that Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) has given her his advice on her current predicament.
Brennan warned that there was no way the FBI would just let Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) walk free after his mission was over. Jason could be forced into as many missions as they want based on that leverage.
Likewise, Brennan insisted the FBI would indeed move forward with charges against Carly once Jason was no longer of use.
Will learning all of this make Carly tempted to change her mind and go back to her plan to turn herself in?
There’s no denying that it would eliminate the FBI’s hold on Jason, so Carly might reconsider letting herself get arrested.
At the same time, the desire to get payback on John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington) and break free from this grip should prove awfully strong for Carly.
Regardless, Jason will just want Carly to butt out and back off!
Although Jason will think he’s got everything under control, Carly will continue to make some messes along the way.
Next, let’s talk about Ava Jerome (Maura West) since she’ll be making some messes of her own.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has turned against Ava in a big way, so now Ava’s about to show off her sinister side.
Ava will do whatever it takes to keep her spot in Avery Corinthos’ (Ava and Grace Scarola) life, but our predictions suggest her feud with Sonny could lead to dangerous consequences if she’s not careful!
In the meantime, it’ll be interesting to see when Sonny and Natalia Ramirez’s (Eva LaRue) budding romance blows up since Ava’s still got a shocking recording she can use against Blaze aka Allison “Allie” Rogers’ (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) mom.
As for Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), will he get real help like Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) have been pressuring him to do?
Even if Finn agrees to rehab, the show’s been hinting that rock bottom hasn’t truly arrived yet.
That could mean Finn will end up backsliding again, so things could take a tragic turn depending on what GH writers have in mind for his looming exit.
Meanwhile, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will presumably take steps to get back inside Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) house and steal that incriminating satellite phone.
Until then, Valentin will continue plotting the final push that could send Sonny truly off the rails and potentially put him behind bars.
