General Hospital (GH) spoilers preview video for the week of May 27-31 reveals that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will worry about the threat Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) poses, so she’ll convey her fears to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
As Anna frets, she’ll acknowledge the possibility that Sonny will try to have Jason and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) killed, but Jason will no doubt promise to stay on guard and watch over Dex, too.
Although Jason will hope that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) got through to Sonny after his recent attack on Dex, no one can make a firm prediction on Sonny’s behavior these days.
Since Sonny isn’t on the right medication dosage, he’s lashing out more often and becoming unhinged.
GH’s weekly preview video shows Sonny approaching Dex as he sits on a bench in the park, so that could escalate into some dangerous tension.
Another part of the promo features Sonny making a rather ominous statement that leaves Carly looking unsettled.
“I gave him a chance to walk away; what happens next is on him,” Sonny insists in the preview clip.
Carly will remain concerned for Dex along with Jason since he’s determined to keep the promise he made to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
Although Jason told Josslyn that he’d protect Dex, he’ll have to shift gears and focus on protecting himself soon enough!
It looks like Jason will face an ambush at the warehouse since a man can be seen crouching down behind some coffee bean bags in the weekly preview video, which also shows Jason coming around the corner.
Of course, this man could be someone sent for a deadly attack by Pikeman or even someone spying for John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington).
There’s no guarantee it’ll be Sonny who sends someone after Jason, but we do know Jason will make a move that infuriates Sonny in the coming episodes.
Over with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), he’ll talk to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) about the risks of investigating the FBI.
Spinelli will ask if Sam’s willing to chance losing her freedom since there’ll be a lot on the line for both of them.
However, it appears both Sam and Spinelli will stick to the plan, so they’ll just have to proceed with caution as they try to figure out what leverage the FBI’s holding over Jason.
General Hospital spoilers say Spinelli and Sam could get updates on Carly’s RICO violations soon, so stay tuned to see their reaction to that shocking news.
