General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that ever since Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton) agreed to start trying to grow their family, some fans were worried that drama was on the horizon.
After all, in the land of soaps, super couples are begging for fertility issues once they come together to start trying for a baby.
One only must look at the recent struggles TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) have endured trying to expand their family.
Their marriage is literally holding on by a string.
Still, GH viewers can’t help but speculate that a bun might be in Brook Lynn’s oven, already.
After all, Amanda Setton has been donning a lot of blazers lately, the signature piece of any actress hiding a baby bump, so could the Baby Chase storyline be a set up to help write in the actress’s pregnancy?
While the GH wardrobe department could just believe that Brook Lynn needs to spice up her corporate attire, it’s hard for GH fans not to speculate.
Setton was on maternity leave in 2020 for baby #3, when actress Briana Lane was brought in as a temporary recast.
At that point in time, it didn’t make sense for the character to have a baby, even though she ended up fooling Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) into believing she had his baby, shortly after the fact.
However, now that she’s with Chase, and little Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) has hinted multiple times that she wants a cousin and what an amazing mom Brook Lynn would be, if the actress ended up expecting, it could easily be written into storylines.
Then again, there’s always a chance that Brook Lynn fakes a pregnancy for a baby swap storyline as it seems very likely Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) will end up expecting.
But if Setton was pregnant, she’d be sporting a real baby bump to Brook Lynn’s “very realistic looking” one.
General Hospital spoilers suggest that if Amanda Setton is expecting and keeping quiet, it’s only a matter of time before she’ll have to come forward and tell the world, as it’ll get harder to hide.
It’ll be interesting to see if Brook Lynn’s newfound love for blazers and loose clothing something has to do with a wardrobe makeover for the character, or a little bundle of joy soon to enter the Setton (and Chase) family.
