General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the Fourth of July brought a big announcement from Kate Mansi (Kristina Corinthos-Davis on GH, ex-Abigail Deveraux DiMera on Days of Our Lives Lives) and her new husband-to-be. On a recent Instagram story, Mansi showed off a gorgeous engagement ring in a funny pic where she was eating a sandwich wrap.
You couldn’t miss the lovely rock on her finger, but Kate Mansi’s fiancé offered a little more information on his own Instagram account.
Matt McInnis posted a pic of himself kissing Mansi’s head in a mountainous setting while she sported the new bling.
Mansi previously told SOD she’d be visiting a cabin for some nature time with loved ones this Independence Day, but it turns out the day before the actual holiday was even more memorable.
“Apparently today is a holiday, but I think July 3rd was even better,” McInnis said in his post.
In the comments section, Janine Halsey suggested an alternate caption of “#ourwife for life,” so Mansi confirmed the engagement by replying with an enthusiastic “YES.”
Of course, plenty of soap viewers have been congratulating Kate Mansi following her engagement updates.
In addition to the new fans that Mansi has earned during her time as GH’s Kristina Corinthos-Davis, she still has many supporters from back when she played Abigail Deveraux DiMera on Days of Our Lives.
There’s no word yet on when Mansi and McInnis plan to tie the knot, but there’ll be time to work out all the details later.
For now, Mansi deserves a chance to just celebrate this exciting moment with her loving fiancé.
We certainly wish Mansi and McInnis the best as they kick off this new chapter of their romantic journey together.
As for what’s ahead in Port Charles, Kristina’s due date will continue to inch closer, so that’ll set the stage for some baby drama and more family issues this August.
