General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that fans have been missing Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) in Port Charles, but a recent story development led to some viewers wondering if she’s been up to no good off-screen.
Obrecht is no stranger to scheming, so this storyline involving Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ (Kate Mansi) deceased baby raised questions about her possible involvement.
“Did anyone see Christina’s baby after it died? Where is LIESL? lol @gatitweets Are you behaving girl?” one fan asked on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Mostly NOT behaving!” Kathleen Gati replied after quoting the other user’s post.
Of course, Gati added a rolling on the floor laughing emoji along with a heart, so she was just having some fun.
There’s no reason to think Liesl actually stole the baby Kristina gave birth to, but we wouldn’t mind if she did!
Obrecht is always a blast whenever she’s up to her old tricks and making conniving moves.
It’d be great to see Liesl get back to stirring up trouble – even if it involves another storyline entirely.
That said, the idea of Kristina’s baby being stolen instead of deceased is interesting. Could there be some sort of deception going on here?
We’re not saying that Liesl would be part of the equation, but could someone else have snatched the baby up as part of some nefarious plot?
That might open the door to an intriguing mystery depending on what GH writers want to do.
However, it seems more like the show’s trying to ditch some old storylines and make way for new ones, so maybe Kristina’s baby really is gone forever.
Regardless, it was cute to see Kathleen Gati weigh in on the action that’s been happening in Port Charles, especially since we haven’t seen Liesl in quite some time.
