General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall) recently finished filming her final scenes at the ABC soap, so many fans are disappointed over the end of her run.
It’ll be sad to watch Sam wrap up her time on the air, but at least we have some great memories to cling to.
In a new Cameo video, Greg Vaughan (Eric Brady on Days of Our Lives, ex-Lucky Spencer on GH) reflected on some memories of his own since Monaco is both a friend and a former co-star.
Vaughan showed support for Monaco after her firing by reflecting on her talent and the good times they shared on set.
There was no shortage of fun at the studio back when Vaughan was playing Lucky, who was paired up with Sam for a while.
When asked about some of his favorite moments, Greg Vaughan recalled how they were “wild and free and crazy” in those days.
It was a “different energy” that Vaughan enjoyed bringing to the screen with Monaco by his side.
Vaughan talked about the Super Soap Weekends that brought a lot of special experiences behind the scenes as well, so that gave him a chance to bond with Monaco along with his other castmates.
However, Vaughan also mentioned some specific Lucky and Sam memories that would always stick out in his mind – like their camping trip adventure and the sizzling jacuzzi scene they shared once upon a time.
Overall, Greg Vaughan had a blast working with Kelly Monaco and had nothing but good things to say about her.
It’s clear that Monaco remains a friend to Vaughan, who still tries to see her every now and then so they can catch up.
