General Hospital’s Kelly Monaco Talks Abuse of Power and Recovering with Dignity – Sam’s Portrayer Claps Back

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Kelly Monaco (ex-Sam McCall) is finally breaking her social media silence and setting the record straight. On X, formerly known as Twitter, Monaco felt the need to pipe up and clarify something after accusations got tossed around.

The drama started when a fan commented on the fact that so many GH stars have been showing their love for Chad Duell (Michael Corinthos) following his exit updates.

Since Monaco didn’t get that same level of support from her coworkers, it led to one X user suspecting that they were all terrified of facing backlash.

This fan suggested GH Executive Producer Frank Valentini had a vendetta against Kelly Monaco that created a hostile work environment.

In response, someone else tried to claim there was no vendetta and blamed Monaco herself for her firing.

After this X user accused Monaco of phoning in her performances for years, they also argued that Monaco thought she had more power than she actually did.

That was enough to convince Kelly Monaco to reply and clear up her side of the story.

Although Monaco kept things cryptic, she did clap back and offer some hints about what was really going on behind the scenes.

“I do have more power than a ‘job’ it’s my voice, my experience, my truth,” Monaco said. “You can beat someone down, until they finally find the power within themselves to recover with grace and dignity. Those whom choose to bully behind their power, will suffer their own consequences.”

Monaco didn’t go into the details of her firing, but she certainly made it sound like she felt those in charge abused their power to target her.

Of course, plenty of supportive fans rushed to Monaco’s defense and let her know she’s still very loved.

Many viewers remain bitter about Sam’s exit story and how it all went down, but Monaco definitely delivered some emotional, memorable performances on her way out.

General Hospital spoilers say the drama of Sam’s demise will continue, so we’ll bring you predictions on Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) reaction to the news of her sacrifice.
