In tonight’s Grey’s Anatomy episode, Teddy planned a fun day off with her husband. They were going to walk a difficult trail. Teddy initially ignored how difficult it was. She just thought it was going to lead to a waterfall and unfortunately they never found that, but they did come across two people in distress.

There was a father/daughter team hiking the same trail. The daughter fell into a pit. Her father refused to wait for backup. He tried to reach her and it resulted in him falling into the pit as well. He was injured. Rosie couldn’t reach up to call for help. The father and daughter were lucky in the sense that two doctors found them so easily.

It was up to the doctors to save them. They didn’t have anything to scale down to meet the two victims. They also didn’t have cell reception. Teddy had to travel to call for help.

She left Own on his own and he made the best of it. While that was happening, the interns finally told Bailey their good news. They were all done with their procedure logs. They can officially return to the OR. They would have celebrated it if it hadn’t been for Hellmouth’s bad mood. The Co-Chief Resident wasn’t taking it well that Mika wanted space.

Mika hasn’t broken up with Taryn. She was just upset with her. She needed space to reevaluate their relationship. It was Taryn also known as Hellmouth that was taking the space badly.

She was being mean to the interns. She was giving them hard tasks. She was yelling at them over the simplest things. Everyone blamed Mika for Taryn’s new behavior. They actually missed Schmitt. Schmitt was running all over the hospital doing things for Jo’s service because she didn’t feel like doing them. Jo plans on giving up general surgery. She wants to focus solely on her OBGYN service.

Jo planned a great speech to Teddy that went to waste when she learned Teddy had a day off. She couldn’t give up general surgery then and so she made Schmitt do all of her tasks.

He even missed out on the interns going back into the OR. Lucas and Simone were on Dorian’s service. Dorian has been in the hospital for almost two months. His intestines attached to the skin of his stomach. He needed surgery. It’s his umpteenth surgery. Dorian has died several times and he’s always been brought back to life.
