Lioness fans can brace themselves for an explosive Season 2, which is set to unravel very soon. Paramount+ just released the show’s trailer for their next season, and Sunday, October 27 is the date to mark on your calendar for the premiere.
Action, adventure, and incredible acting is what’s on tap for the viewers of the spy thriller drama, created by the “it producer of the moment”, Taylor Sheridan from Yellowstone fame.

In a flashing sequence of dramatic scenes, filed with intrigue, adventure, and action, the Lioness Season 2 trailer is certainly gearing fans up for an exciting run.
Zoe Saldaña is shown throughout the trailer, including the beginning, so Lioness viewers can expect her return as Joe, as well as Nicole Kidman who will reprise her role as Kaitlyn Meade.
In addition, the preview also highlights Academy Award winner, Morgan Freeman, as Edwin Mullins, U.S. Secretary of the State, and actor Michael Kelly, playing the CIA Deputy Director, Byron Westfield.

Sheridan not only created Lioness but is also the executive producer of the show. In addition, he’s worked with Paramount+ on a slew of other series including the upcoming Landman, 1923, and Mayor of Kingstown.
Interestingly enough, Kidman and Saldaña don’t only star in the drama, they also serve as executive producers, alongside Wagner, Ron Burkle, David C. Glasser, Bob Yari, David Lemanowicz, David Hutkin, Michael Friedman, Keith Cox, and Geyer Kosinski.
