NBC Announces The Show Set To Replace “Law & Order: Organized Crime” In Their Fall 2024 Schedule

Law & Order: Organized Crime fans were disheartened this past spring when they came to learn that the show was not renewed by NBC for Season 5.

The silver lining in this all is that the Law & Order spinoff would be moving to Peacock for a new season, so viewers can continue to watch the series unfold, just on the streaming platform versus the network.

This leaves an opening within NBC’s 2024 fall schedule, so which show will be slipping into the Thursday 10 p.m. (ET) time slot?

NBC Confirms Replacement For “Law & Order: Organized Crime”

NBC recently released the 2024 fall premiere dates for its shows, and in doing so, it seems that the drama, Found, will be sliding into Law & Order: Organized Crime’s 10 p.m. time slot for Thursday evenings.

The series will premiere on October 3, with Law & Order, as well as Law & Order: SVU kicking off Thursday’s primetime line-up on NBC.

Found originally aired on Tuesdays, but now this time slot will be filled by The Irrational.

More On The Drama, Found

Found first premiered last year in October. The show stars Shanola Hampton, Kelli Williams, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Brett Dalton, and Arlen Escarpeta, among others, and was created by Nkechi Okoro Carroll.

The show centers on Gabi Mosely (Shanola Hampton), a recovery specialist, who was kidnapped as a teen. Now an adult, she’s trapped her kidnapper in her basement and uses his knowledge to help her and her crisis management team find missing people.

Viewers immediately connected with Found after it premiered, with 10.5 million fans tuning in, across all platforms.

While it may be hard for Law & Order fans to get used to Found on Thursdays, while also streaming Organized Crime on Peacock, in the long run, this might be the best scenario for both shows.

Being on the streaming platform, Organized Crime will have longer episodes, and the ability to be a bit more risqué without the need to hold back due to network standards.

Meanwhile, Found is nicely aligned with Law & Order content, so it’ll fit in well on the Thursday night schedule, despite some fans of the show having to get used to the new time slot.
