After all, NCIS is known for finale cliffhangers, and the episode before the “last” episode of the season could be setting things up for a major blowout.

The NCIS, Season 21, Episode 9 is titled “Prime Cut”, and spoilers say that the team will travel to Texax after the remains of a Marine captain are found. Added teasers reveal that they’ll interrogate the suspected killer, but do they have the right person of interest?
Images of Jessica Knight (Katrina Law) wearing a cowboy hat have already been seen, so it looks like there will be some fun in the mix with this investigation, but the real question is will this just be a case-of-the-week story, or is there something more to this all?
NCIS, Season 21, Episode 9 Spoilers: Nearing The End
“Prime Cut” takes place on Monday, April 29 at 9 p.m. (ET) on CBS and fans can stream the show on Parmount+, too. NCIS’s Season 21 finale (episode 10) takes place the following week on Monday, May 6, and the last thing viewers want to do is miss these last two shows of an already shortened season.
After May 6th, the show goes on summer hiatus, so there will be nothing but repeats until the fall, as NCIS has been renewed by the network for a Season 22.
Still, fans of the NCIS franchise will get their fill on CBS come the 2024-2025 season, with not only the original NCIS renewed, but NCIS: Sydney, as well, and the debut of NCIS: Origins, a “prequel” that focuses on a young Leroy Jethro Gibbs.
There’s also word of another NCIS spinoff heading to Paramount+ that will focus on Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David, and the title of that show has yet to be announced. No word, as of this writing, on whether or not NCIS: Hawai’i will be renewed for another season.
