Outer Range Season 3: Josh Brolin Is On Board For More

Josh Brolin recently conducted an interview where he implies that another season of Outer Range would be intriguing. He states, “Wanting to carry a character that far for that long, even the idea of doing a play for two years, just sounds awful to me.

You want to get in there, 12 weeks of work, have your impact, hope it is a good and get out.” He adds that, this is his “mentality” and why he got out of television in the first place.

However, with that being said, Brolin also stated that with Outer Range, things are different. He notes the show has “its hook in him”, revealing that he doesn’t know exactly why.

Outer Range  Season 3: ‘Lukewarm’ Reviews

The good news is that the show’s star is in, but the bad news is that Outer Range didn’t stir much up when it came to the critics, during the first season. They were “lukewarm” about Season 1, which took some time to present the series’ “mystery”.

Still, Season 2 has been better received when it comes to reviews, especially the characters and how they’ve been handled. Overall, the show seems to have finally found it’s groove. As such, there’s a good chance that Season 3 will be something that comes to fruition.

Still, while Brolin seems to be on board for another season, Amazon has the ultimate say as to whether or not this show moves forward with Season 3.
