A Station 19 character is in discussions regarding a Grey’s Anatomy comeback, following the series finale of the spin-off; thus, returning to the show that their role was initially introduced in.
As most fans know, Station 19 is set in the same orbit as Grey’s, where the seriescenters on the stories coming out of the Seattle Fire Department station.
Over the years, some familiar faces have shown up in Station 19, including Dr. Ben Warren (Jason George), who remained a major character for the series until its final Season 7, which recently wrapped up.
Station 19 News: Jason George Is In Talks To Return To Grey’s Anatomy
According to Deadline, George is talking about returning to Grey’s as Ben, following the series finale of Station 19. As per the report, it seems he’ll come back as a series regular. The actor was a regular on Grey’s in Season 14 before the show’s spinoff began.
As Station 19 came to a close, the team survived a huge wildfire threat that was creating chaos in Seattle, with everyone making it out alive, except for Kate (Kiele Sanchez). During the series finale, Ben did say he wanted to finish his surgical residency, a decision that could bring him back to Grey’s for Season 21.

The series finale of Station 19 means fans had to say goodbye to quite a few beloved characters; however, it also allows a window of opportunity for some to return to primetime screens, and it looks like this includes Dr. Ben Warren. While it’s clear where his story is headed because of his flash forward during the Station 19 finale, with Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) and their adopted daughter, his comeback to Grey’s may bridge an explanation of sorts.
