The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, August 2, reveals that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) flashed a jealous glare before interrupting Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) lovey-dovey moment at the office.
Finn played referee once he got updates on the Hope for the Future situation, but Steffy insisted they needed to cut the line way back due to the failing numbers.
In Monte Carlo on Friday’s B&B episode, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) drove Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) up to a casino and spent some time kissing her by the water.
Meanwhile, someone hid behind flowers while delivering them to Katie Logan (Heather Tom) in the design office.
Once Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) revealed his face, Katie was delighted over the surprise and hugged him repeatedly.
Will enjoyed studying abroad, but he was ready to be home now.
However, Will had concerns about Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) new family taking over the house, especially since Poppy’s whole story was so weird.
At Il Giardino, Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) reflected on her last conversation with Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers) and wished she hadn’t been so dismissive about his backpack news.
Sheila didn’t think Tom Starr’s (Clint Howard) bag would be evidence in a murder investigation at the time, but she assumed Hollis listened to her about throwing it in the trash.
Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) comforted Sheila over her regrets and heard her speculation about drugs being in Tom’s backpack, which could’ve been a clue and offered smoking gun that led to the killer.
At Poppy’s old apartment, she arrived there with Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) to collect some things. While Poppy was in the bedroom, Luna looked for her missing tablet and stumbled across Tom’s bag.
Once Luna looked inside, she read some of Tom’s returned letters and reeled over his belief that he was her father.
Poppy reappeared, so Luna confronted her about the letters and got her to admit she knew about them since she sent them back to Tom.
As Luna struggled to process all this, she brought up Tom’s overdose and asked if Katie was right about Poppy.
“Did you kill Tom Starr?” Luna asked as Friday’s episode concluded.
