The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, August 9, reveals that Katie Logan (Heather Tom) reeled over RJ Forrester’s (Joshua Hoffman) updates on Tom Starr’s (Clint Howard) backpack being in Poppy Nozawa’s (Romy Park) apartment and the fact that she met with Tom the night he died.
RJ pushed Katie to be careful with this information before he picked up his pizza and took off.
Meanwhile, Poppy returned to the apartment to defend her innocence again and was grateful when Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) claimed she believed her mom.
At home, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) told Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) that he was concerned about Poppy since he had this feeling in his gut that something was troubling her.
Back at Il Giardino, Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) gave Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) a shoulder massage and learned that Katie had been asking questions related to Poppy.
Once Katie returned from her conversation with RJ, Sheila admitted that she was the last one to see Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers) alive.
Katie asked if Hollis said anything, so Sheila noted that he wanted her to see something from Tom’s backpack.
However, Sheila assumed that backpack was long gone since she told Hollis to get rid of it in the dumpster.
Afterward, Katie called Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) to talk about Tom and Hollis’ deaths since she thought she might have some evidence.
Over with Deacon, he choked on a special recipe Sheila made since she accidentally used too much cayenne.
Deacon guzzled milk and once again talked to Sheila about all Katie’s questions about Poppy.
Next on Friday’s B&B episode, Katie headed to Bill’s place and urged him to listen since his life could depend on it.
Bill was annoyed, but Katie brought up Tom’s backpack containing letters claiming he was Luna’s father.
Although Bill said he already knew, Katie insisted Poppy only told him half the story since she saw Tom right before he died.
Katie pointed out that Poppy waited all this time to do a paternity test – and then Tom died right after their meeting. Once Hollis found the backpack, he wound up dead, too.
As Poppy entered, Katie insisted she was dangerous and left Bill asking if she thought Poppy was a murderer.
“Yes, Bill! Yes!” Katie shouted as Poppy glared from the doorway.
Based on our predictions, someone other than Poppy is to blame for Tom and Hollis’ fatal outcomes, so stay tuned to see who’ll figure that out.
