The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Friday, August 9, reveal that Katie Logan (Heather Tom) will reel now that she’s heard RJ Forrester’s (Joshua Hoffman) shocking news. After Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) blabbed to RJ about Tom Starr’s (Clint Howard) backpack and the letters related to her paternity, he quickly spilled to Katie at Il Giardino.
Now Katie is more convinced than ever that she might be right about Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) targeting Tom and Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers).
Poppy claimed to have no idea how the bag wound up in her old apartment, but Katie may argue that it couldn’t have just walked in there on its own!
In Katie’s mind, this will be more proof that Poppy is covering her tracks.
Once Katie wraps up this enlightening conversation with RJ, she may reconvene with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and fish for more info.
Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) will pop up too, so it seems she’ll wind up helping Katie with her Poppy investigation.
Perhaps Sheila will reflect on how eager Hollis was to show her something in that backpack – something he feared might’ve been the reason for Tom’s demise.
Sheila may once again face regrets about not listening to Hollis and urging him to throw out the backpack since it went missing that very night.
Although Sheila isn’t Katie’s favorite person, Katie will believe her claims about having nothing to do with Tom and Hollis’ grim fates.
Instead, Sheila’s details should add to Katie’s belief that Poppy is the guilty party.
B&B spoilers say Katie will eventually head to Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) mansion and sound the alarm.
After Katie warns that Bill’s life could be at stake, she’ll offer updates on everything she’s learned and insist Poppy must be to blame.
Although Bill will brush off Katie’s growing suspicions, he may wonder why Poppy didn’t tell him about the backpack supposedly showing up at her apartment.
Katie might worry that the backpack could disappear if she doesn’t take action fast, so will she break into Poppy’s apartment to get her hands on it?
