The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, July 26, reveals that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) cheered Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) on ahead of her photoshoot, but Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) still wasn’t happy about the news.
Steffy made that clear to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) once he arrived, but she appreciated his visit and the coffee he offered as a pick-me-up.
Hope glared at Finn and Steffy as they shared some lovey-dovey moments before thinking back to one of her own Finn fantasies.
While Katie Logan (Heather Tom) was on her laptop, she did some research on the music festival that Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) attended with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
Katie was stunned to see that Tom Starr (Clint Howard) performed at that festival.
Next, Il Giardino was open for business again since the authorities and health department cleared them.
However, Bill took jabs at Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) over the empty restaurant and asked if the cops had any new info on the overdose deaths.
Deacon admitted the police would only say that the investigation was ongoing, but he worried that Tom and Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers) had been murdered.
If that was the case, somebody could be out there ready to strike again.
Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) arrived and began joking around with Bill, who talked about being glad that they’d put their issues behind them.
Once Deacon saw Justin, he flashed back to seeing him the night Tom died and mentioned that Justin was there.
After Bill pointed the finger at Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown), Deacon defended his wife and suggested Bill wouldn’t like it if he trashed Poppy in the same way.
Justin tried to steer the conversation in another direction, but Bill made it clear that he didn’t get together with a known murderer like Deacon did.
As for what happened to Tom and Hollis, Deacon continued to wonder if they were specifically targeted and killed on purpose.
At Bill’s mansion, Katie caught Poppy off guard with her arrival and said she learned something absolutely fascinating through her music festival research.
Once Katie brought up how Tom performed at the same festival, she also mentioned his Il Giardino performance.
Since Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) was conceived the same night Tom performed and then mysteriously died of an overdose recently, Katie was suspicious.
Katie wanted to know if Poppy had a relationship with Tom and asked if Tom was her lover.
Since Poppy frequented the restaurant where Tom worked, Katie asked if she knew him.
Poppy flashed back to arguing with Tom about Luna’s paternity and looked uncomfortable.
Katie called Poppy out for seeming so uneasy about her Tom questions, so Poppy asked if Katie was trying to link her to that poor man’s death.
Since Poppy brought it up, Katie indeed asked if she had anything to do with Tom’s overdose.
Poppy ranted about Katie acting like she was a liar, a gold digger and a murderer before warning her to stop with these absurd accusations.
Katie questioned what Poppy would do if she didn’t stop, so Friday’s B&B episode wrapped up on a tense note.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Poppy will grow increasingly anxious about Katie’s digging, so we’ll pass along more predictions about her Tom problems and updates on what Katie will do next.
