The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, October 4, reveals that Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) said what most fans were thinking when she called her new diagnosis ridiculous.
Taylor was offended over Dr. Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) acting like this was all in her head, but Grace insisted broken heart syndrome was a very real condition that doctors were learning more about every day.
Despite Dr. Buckingham’s attempts to explain on Friday’s B&B episode, Taylor called her findings a joke and ultimately stomped out of her office.
Later, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) spoke to Taylor at the cliff house and urged her to focus on the positive thing in all this since she wasn’t dying.
Taylor had a treatable condition and needed to listen to Dr. Buckingham’s guidance as far as Ridge was concerned.
Once Taylor realized Ridge thought she was brokenhearted because of him, she called out his ego and maintained that she wasn’t depressed.
Ridge tried to calm Taylor down and suggested the mind was connected to the body in ways they didn’t always understand.
Taylor ultimately warned Ridge not to say anything to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) or Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), so he promised he wouldn’t.
Although Taylor didn’t understand how she got here, Ridge took her hands and insisted she wasn’t alone before they shared another hug.
At Forrester Creations, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) worked out an Eye on Fashion deal with Steffy before talk turned to Taylor’s homecoming.
Steffy assured Liam that she wouldn’t try to push her parents together, but she was frustrated since she believed Taylor and Ridge were just delaying the inevitable.
At Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) mansion, Brooke realized that Katie Logan (Heather Tom) shut him down because of her.
Bill suggested it was because of what they both did and feared Katie would never trust him again.
Brooke believed in second chances and thought anyone would be lucky to have a wonderful man like Bill in her life.
That’s why Brooke wanted to speak with Katie and try to convince her, so Bill appreciated the way Brooke saw the best in him.
Bill eventually brought up the fact that Ridge still hadn’t married Brooke, but she acted like they’d already had enough big weddings.
Brooke didn’t need a piece of paper to prove the love she shared with Ridge, but Bill doubted his commitment.
In fact, Bill made a prediction that Ridge was off spending time with Taylor at that very moment!
