The Bold and the Beautiful Monday, August 19 Recap: Bill Warns No More Luna Kisses, Li Must Play Detective

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, August 19, reveals that Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) pushed Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) to find the person or people responsible for the Il Giardino deaths since she’d been framed.

Poppy also wanted Li to be there for Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) and remained grateful that her daughter had Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) to lean on.

Li promised to look after Luna and make sure she was all right, but Poppy wasn’t sure how Luna could be OK when her mother was in a place like this.

Poppy once again talked about the frame-up and said she was counting on Li to figure out who was actually to blame.

At Bill’s mansion, Luna was sure that kiss was the last thing he expected and suggested it caught her by surprise, too.

Bill was flustered as he said Luna couldn’t do that and asked why she would kiss him.

Although Bill knew Luna’s emotions were all over the place, he reiterated that she couldn’t kiss him and hoped she understood that.

Luna acted like she didn’t know what she was thinking and ultimately shifted the conversation to whether Poppy was truly guilty.

At one point, Bill offered to get Luna counseling, but she needed more time to process everything.

Bill once again made it clear that Luna couldn’t kiss him, but she still appreciated that he cared for her like no man ever had and pulled him into a hug.

In the Forrester Creations design office, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) shocked Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) with the news that Poppy had been arrested for Tom Starr (Clint Howard) and Paul “Hollis” Hollister’s (Hollis W. Chambers) murders.

Hope reeled over Brooke’s updates, but Brooke quickly realized Hope was distracted over thoughts of John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).

After Hope reflected on Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) not appreciating the kind of man Finn was, she knew that didn’t give her a free pass to interfere in their marriage.

Even so, Hope’s feelings had evolved, so she talked about seeing that Finn could be a great friend and lover.

Brooke flipped out thinking Hope might’ve landed in bed with Finn, but Hope said nothing like that happened.

However, Hope did confess the tipsy party smooch and left Brooke stunned over her daughter kissing Steffy’s husband.

At the cliff house on Monday’s B&B episode, Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) interrupted Finn’s conversation with Steffy, so he was taken aback and gave her a warm welcome home.

Steffy said Finn was just about to tell her something about Hope, but Taylor decided to let them talk alone – especially since she had some things to take care of elsewhere.

Taylor mentioned that she had to get her practice up and running since she was sticking around.

Once Taylor took off, Finn told Steffy that something happened at the party that she needed to know about.

After Finn reminded Steffy about the phone call she took, he said Hope pulled him aside and caught him off guard by kissing him.

Finn assured Steffy that he pulled back, but that part didn’t really seem to sink in for his wife.

“Hope kissed you? You and Hope…your lips met? You kissed Hope?” Steffy asked as she began to spin out.

Our predictions point to Finn facing more backlash than he bargained for, so fans can expect plenty of drama!

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn will try to put all the blame on Hope, but he’s still going to run into some marriage issues thanks to Hope’s move.
