The Bold and the Beautiful Monday, July 22 Recap: Sheila Released – Finn Confesses to Hope

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, July 22, reveals that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) remained uncomfortable with Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) flirting, but she suggested he couldn’t be surprised that she had a little crush.

Hope also pointed out that Finn hadn’t answered her question about whether he could make a girl’s dreams come true.

Finn suspected whatever was going on here involved Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), so Hope admitted they had a tiff earlier.

However, Hope insisted this was all about Finn and continued all her flirty talk.

Finn wondered if Hope’s migraines were even real, so she confirmed that they were and that they were better thanks to Finn’s magic touch.

After Finn warned that Hope wasn’t going to get a rise out of him, he said he was going to see his wife and urged Hope to button up her outfit.

Hope noted that most men wouldn’t tell her to do that, but Finn insisted he wasn’t most men.

Before Finn could leave, he got a text from Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) about Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) being released after questioning since there was no evidence of her guilt.

Hope asked how Finn felt about that, so he confessed that part of him was relieved.

Deep down, Finn didn’t really believe Sheila killed Tom Starr (Clint Howard) and Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers).

The more time Finn had to think about it, the more he realized Sheila didn’t really have a reason since she was turning her life around.

Hope didn’t know what to believe anymore, so Finn said he didn’t either.

Finn felt it was important for the cops to question Sheila considering her history, but the last thing he wanted was for her to be found guilty of murdering Tom and Hollis.

That said, Hope and Finn agreed they still didn’t trust Sheila.

Now that Sheila was officially a free woman again, Hope suggested she didn’t want Finn getting into any more trouble with Steffy.

Finn pointed out that he planned to stay away from Sheila and honor Steffy’s wishes.

Hope said she still thought it was a mistake for Deacon to marry Sheila, but she went to the wedding for her dad.

Finn felt they were on the same page, so Hope suggested that maybe one day Finn would be willing to admit just how in sync they really were.

In the design office, Steffy remained uncomfortable after walking in on Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) sizzling moment together.

Once Steffy took off, Ridge resumed his efforts to convince Brooke to be the face of the Brooke’s Bedroom relaunch.

The fashion summit in Monte Carlo was the perfect time to restart Brooke’s modeling career.

Brooke was hesitant due to all the scrutiny she’d face at her age, but she tried on something from the line and decided she was in.

Since modeling lingerie on a global stage frightened her, Brooke said that’s what made her want to do it.

Ridge was thrilled and said the world was going to fall in love with Brooke all over again.

Next on Monday’s B&B episode, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) visited Steffy in the CEO office, where he revealed he had a meeting with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) about the upcoming fashion summit in Monte Carlo.

Liam also told Steffy about popping in on Finn at the hospital and giving him credit for his part in getting Sheila taken into custody.

Although Finn hadn’t always put Steffy and the kids first, Liam thought Finn was doing it now and said it was better late than never.

Talk turned to what happened to Tom and Hollis, so Steffy insisted it was an open and shut against Sheila.

Steffy was sure Sheila was to blame and that she was going to pay for her crimes this time.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy will be livid once she gets updates on Sheila’s release news, so we’ll bring you more predictions on the next round of conflict in her marriage.
